Cassandra is already a tragic character, but so far she doesn't look too "emo" over it.
Also, I see a Greek heroes aura around the Pentaghasts and their "legends".
I hadn't noticed but now that you mention it. If she gets an ending like Jason or Ulises the backlash is going to be terrible, though I'll love it. I'm a sucker for greek mythology.
Edit: I was refering to the greek hero aura. I see her more stoic than tragic (just read more posts and thought i should clarify that)
For those who don't know Jason (the story refered commonly as Jason and the Argonauts) grew ot be old and their ship stayed in a beach near where he lived. He loved to take naps laying on the beach at the shadow the ship provided. The ship didn't get maintenance and one day the mast fell one him.
Ulises' death is more, curious. In his adventures one detail usually censured out in newer adaptations of his travels are that he had a fling with the with Circe, and while he didn't know it he had a son with her. A prophecy said one of his children would kill him, so he moved to an island near his own and lived in peace, forbiding his children to visit him and getting out of the way so they could grow in the main island like the rest. One day Circe's comes to the island, he's heard stories of his heroic father and is anxious ot meet him, he doens't say he's his son, just asks where Ulises is. When he gets to the island he ends up finding an old man blocking his way. The old man asks him to step aside, the son (I can't remember his name, sorry) states that he's in a hurry and let him pass. They argue over this and in the end the son decides to move past the old man, pushing him aside. Sadly the old man looses his footing and end up falling down a hill, the son runs after him, horrified at what he's done. He inmediatly starts trying to talk about going ot get help, or trying to help him himself. The old man just asks who he was looking for "My father, the hero Odiseus (that's the greek version of the name)" Ulises tells him that he has found him and then dies, later he had a proper funeral.
So as you can see, an anecdotical and completely unheroic death is not something I think Cass fans would be happy about, though I hsould point out, both of these happened when these people were descrived as being really old, so you could say they did get a happy ending (and an anecdotical death).
