 You know it. She loves that about me. Which is why I finally decided to move to the camp of not making her Divine. **** the chantry, beb is mine. They deserve Vivienne's finely polished heel roflestomping all their stupid asses. They don't deserve Cassandra.

Still torn on that. I don't like her as Divine, but she's still my ideal choice.

I'm not exactly sure how to make her the Divine or not the Divine...

But seriously the image comes to my head of all the people gathering around Cassandra and then starting to touch her and then pull her, and then pull her in fifty different directions.

You mean as Divine? Yea, and that idea depresses me. I think she'd be happier just helping the Seekers as leader and with you.

As for making her Divine, I think you just have to make it clear from the start that you support her, and don't support the other two.

And does that come up later?

Yea, you can talk to all three of them later in the game. Vivienne mentions she thinks Cassandra will make a good divine, and you can either agree or support her. Leliana naturally thinks she'd make the best divine, and I easily said I don't support her idealistic idiocy. Then Cassandra, make sure you just support her and don't throw in doubt or act sad about it if you actually want her to be divine.

I heard some people say helping the templars makes it more likely too, but I don't know.

Its a tough decision.  I do not think Ben would want Leilianna as Divine...might be fine with Viv actually as much as it might turn his stomach...but he wants to be Cass forever and ever and ever. :P

It's funny that it triggers then.. since she isn't interested in females.

I kind of see it as her taking a subtle initiative with the romance and hoping you get some hints. :D

It triggered for my male trevelyan who isn't romancing her. Funny because I only flirted with her once in that playthrough. So I guess it does happen if you flirt with her.

As much as I like Leliana (my cannon Warden romanced her), I feel that going back to who she used to be by becoming Left Hand and the events of the Conclave just broke the stability she had built up after fleeing Orlais. Plus even if there isn't a Andrastean Protestant Reformation, odds are that the next Divine is going backpedal on a good number of the reforms she put into place just because of their unpopularity.

I personally don't much care for Vivienne's personality, but her reforms to the Circle are similar to Cassandra's proposals and having a mage on the Sunburst Throne is a step forward in terms of mage acceptance. In both cases, the only reason why the Chantry is still standing after either candidate's election is because of the Inquisition's political and military might.

Cassandra is the best choice in my opinion because she's spent her entire life "in the trenches" and has seen conditions in the Circle, Templar Order, and the higher echelons of the Chantry first hand and understands their inner workings. Plus with her background as Hero of Orlais, Right Hand of the Divine, and one of the founding members of the Inquisition she benefits from more popular support. The only thing is that she's a person who despises political intrigue in a political office. She's got a bit of Stannis Baratheon's personality to her, it isn't that she wants to be Divine its that she'll do her duty if it's decided that she's to take the throne.

Granted, Divine Cassandra might be dispensing her personal brand of conflict resolution:

The thread in my signature outlines how you can guide the game towards a specific candidate. To get Cass as divine, conscripting mages + putting Gaspard on the throne helps. Chantry reform dialogue choices does as well.

There are times where I am kind of sad that they did not put forth the effort to make Cassandra battle left handed, since much of her promotional work show her left handed, and she even writes left handed in the game. It would have been a nice touch to see.

Maybe she's ambidextrous. Would come in handy.

technically one can say she is, if you go by DotS, i just think since they promoted her so much as left handed could have gone with it

I'm lefthanded, but I do some things right.. Some big things. Like play guitars/string instruments.

It would've been cool if she was wielding lefty though. I know my ambidexterity doesn't extend that far. Plus, it's just an advantage when fighting people. It would've been cool if it was part of her success. Like unorthodox stances and such. Sadly the writers focus more on the details of magic. Not martial arts.

I assume that Cassandra has been trained to wield a sword with her right hand so to fit in when forming a shield wall.  One person using their left despite the rest wielding with their right can create a weakness in formation.

Southpaw >>>

And I'm a righty.

You just can't adjust, while lefties have the advantage of 90% of people they fight being righties.

I'm the opposite, i'm right handed but do a lot of stuff left handed, like playing pool or shooting a gun. but i have taught myself to write with my left hand :)

The shooting the gun part means your left eye is dominant.
