Whatever we were before, we're now the inquisition. But obviously the people that were in this thread at the beginning aren't here any more, and now the thread trolls people who don't follow their view, instead of just talking about Cassandra.

It was pretty funny though. lol

Hey everyone.

So I'm doing my second & final playthrough of DA:I & I want Cassandra to end up as the new Divine. (Pope Waifu is best Waifu)

Currently I'm at Wicked Eyes & Wicked Hearts & I'm wondering if you can get Cass elected if you get the "Best Ending" where you blackmail Gaspard, Celene & Elf lady to make peace or do you have to side with Gaspard?

Another thing I was wondering about is what would Cassandra as Divine do if Gaspard started a war with Fereldan or Navara to restore Orlais' former glory? Cullen said it's the reason he has so many supporters & if he becomes Emperor...

Would the Chantry be in any position to oppose him? Or do they have to stay out of it?

On my nightmare run i did just that and got Cass as Divine, so yes.

I'm not trolling you. Even dwarves will tell you they're from the stone.. not the Maker.. and they can't even dream.

It shows just how ill thought all of it is. If there are any trolls, it's people who insisted on this happening. I expect that behavior from children. Like when they play with random toys, and insist that Batman can fly or Aquaman drives a monster truck. But children are funny. Adults aren't. :)

While I wholeheartedly agree, and the dwarves are incredibly irrelevant to everything this game, the Dwarves and chantry can always be wrong ;)

I have theorized that the Maker is "dead", and thedas itself is the maker's body, and lyrium his blood. If so, the Dwarves would be closer to the Maker than anyone.

Even if that's comically far from the truth, people can roleplay it enough that it's not a waste for them.

I personally wouldn't play a dwarf, same as how I'll not play a Qunari, but if it works for them, it works for them. Only time I'll call it out's when people try shoving it in my face or trying to say it's "the best" Quizzy.

Well, I don't go chasing dwarven or qunari threads. Not once. I would like that theory if it was true though. Until then, I don't care for randomness. I  prefer a clear Vision, so to speak. And there probably won't be one here. It's all whim and novelty.

I'd prefer it not be true myself, but you know. I like considering things.

I understand. I'm not good at coming up with theories myself. Just questioning them...

That goes hand in hand with theorizing actually ;)

Anyway, back to Cass :)

Not necessarily. I'd be the equivalent of a technician or lowly field scientist... just dealing with data. :P

Get that ES **** out of here.

:P It'd actually make a lot of sense, especially if you think of the fade as his mind, and that's why elves qunari and humans are connected to it. All life is remnant of what the Maker was, but with pieces of his spirit. Dwarves aren't because they didn't get as much, hence they're shorter, and don't have magic or dreams.

Dragons, old and elven gods? More pieces of the maker.

The elder scrolls didn't invent this idea, after all. And Bioware takes inspiration from many sources.

Oh, I said back to Cass:

I was here at the beginning, so was Master Warder, Milan92 and StreetMagic...and probably others who don't post as often.

I actually created the original Cass thread, but it got buried and then two others and this one followed.

Been messing with CC, and trying to match the proportions of main characters (seems like the default CC template I was using was smaller than them). I didn't realize how big Cassandra's jaw was.. I have to slide the setting pretty far to the right to match it.

She must have a powerful bite.  B)

Needs more subtlety. Sounds like a copy/paste of Lorkhan bro.

Lorkhan had his heart ripped out and was cast aside. The world then was made by the sacrifice of the gods, willing or no. In a plot to become the Godhead. This is opposite.

I think the maker chose to do this like the chantry suggested almost, but at the cost of his life of course. If the fade's his mind, then no spirit could have the complexity to feel like a real person, because they're reflections of his will. But if he gave away that will and separated it, they'd all have enough to have that creativity needed to truly be alive. That's why people have a connection to the fade, they all used to be of one mind. But when they die, they obviously return to his mind and lose themselves.

That's why demons seek to reach the mortal world. And why the fade wlll likely reunite with it someday as Sendal hinted. The Maker is a god and can't truly die. When everyone dies and is reclaimed by the fade, the maker will be return and be reborn.

If it sounds too Lorkhany, I don't mind. I love lorkhan ;) And regardless I think this is a really cool idea. The Maker giving up himself for the company of others. Pretty depressing.

Lorkhan is never really dead though. He keeps coming back in one form or another and trolling everyone. Or commiting genocide.

Occassionally, he's pretty cool.

I forgot where I read this, but I think he's supposed to be insane and have split personalities. Or Pelinal is (something to do with him being Aka and Lorkhan in one).

Yep. Lorkhan was Tyler Durden before it was cool. Akatosh is unnamed protagonist dude.

Three times at least.
