So.. I'm just wondering.
If Cassandra is made Divine, is the romance officially ended? I mean it's implied but is there any proper moment where she dumps your ass?

I say the story isn't over.
I was here at the beginning, so was Master Warder, Milan92 and StreetMagic...and probably others who don't post as often.

This. It's not a simple break up, but the relationship is undoubtedly different. I wonder where Gaider will go with this.

Like I have written before, an expansion set after the base game is the best manner of exploring the futures of any and all relationships.
Though I read somewhere that Bioware is not going to release anything on the scale of Awakening for DA:I. Can someone confirm this?

I hope that isn't true. Always preferred expansions over DLC. It's a rare thing nowadays.
DAI is almost begging for an expansion...though the one thing I can say that would be good about DLC is that DAI the main game has enough piddly little side quests, they really need to do something that has great story meat for us to sink our teeth into. Hopefully that expands on something in the game that could be fleshed out.

I'd geek all over the place if we could be her right hand, even while remaining the inquisitor. Most powerful Divine ever.
Though, she pretty much is already, even if you're not "officially" her right hand. May as well be.

I don't see why not Cassandra was a Seeker of Truth and one of her hands...forget which one. ![]()

I'm just not interested in having a pope girlfriend, whether I was there or not.
Exactly what demographic was begging for this one? ![]()

Seriously though, it's not even like the Alistair situation. All kinds of women fantasize about kings and queens. It's playing up all kinds of tropes.
NO ONE fantasizes about popes.
Secondly, they made it easier to not choose her, just by giving me a non-companion (Leli) as a candidate, or an ice queen most people don't care much about. Given those options, why do I want to get rid of an LI and best companion?

You're going about this all wrong. Think about it. No one (I'm sure some sick fucks do actually, but for the sake of the argument...) fantasizes about ****** a pope. But I'd be lying if I said I didn't think about porking some hot steamy young nun. Cassandra is a female pope. Head of the nunnery. People will pray to and for her. Put their hopes in her hands. They consider her the holiest of mortals in the land....
And I get to rock her world, hahahahaha. THAT, is ****** awesome. So many haters, but they can't do a goddamned thing about it.

IDK I think that would make her the ideal choice though because you like her and you TRUST her. I mean this really depends on what kind of Inquisitior you are playing and how much you know about the end game but with Vivienne she is far too Conservative and I do not trust her as far as I can throw Skyhold and Leilianna, first of all apparently from the endings I have seen she goes all...I am trying to think of a good historical precedent...night of the long knives?...on societ and two even in game might be a little too radical for some Inquisitors. Whats good about Cassandra is she is just right. SHe favors a return to the status quo in some regards but also favors reform, not throwing the Circle baby out with the bathwater but not leaving it as is. Exactly where I headcanon my Male Mage even before the game came out.

I think people give that office too much credit. I have more faith in on the ground action than figureheads dolling out rules and directives.
I think she's "just right" to lead the Seekers. And unlike the Chantry, they're doomed without her. People are building up some picture of the world falling apart if she isn't divine.. but it's the Seekers that will fall apart.
There's a reason why Varric doesn't call her anything but that name. The whole Divine thing is out of left field.

Even then I think that relies on who you put in charge. Cassandra is a lot more likely to take a hands off approach then rule by force like Lei and Viv would. Especially Viv. And remember this is the Middle Ages the Office of the Pope, in the real world, was VERY powerful. The Divine's death in the beginning of the game caused the whole world to run around sqauwking.
