After begging for forgiveness and being a an absolute doormat, I'm finally doing Cassandra's romance quest! I'm excited!

It takes real skill to capture motion or natural movement imo... I've been drawing all my life, but I think this comes harder for me.. better at faces abnd frontal poses and such, I guess. All comic book and fantasy artists capture motion well. Can you do intense action scenes too?

 

 

 

I've never written any fanfiction.. but this game is the first to inspire me to. ME2 was the first to inspire to READ other people's fanfics.

 

Not sure what I have in mind is fanfiction though. More of a backstory for my mage's life in the Circle...leading up to the current time. 

 

I don't get to draw a lot of scenes with intense action poses so that takes quite a bit of work and research. Haha. 

 

And I checked out FF.net's Cassandra fanfiction. So far, it left me very unsatisfied. Haven't checked out if there are any good ones in AO3. Might just write something because I need more CassandraxInquisitor in my life. Haha.

Just popping in to say I adore Cassandra.  I'm on my third playthrough and after exhausting the m/m options, I am romancing her with my Lavellan.  She is so adorable she might just give Dorian a run for his money at the top of my favourite romances list.

David Gaider: The sexualities of all the characters went through a number of revisions early on as we tried to get the balance to a point where we liked it — and then that got upset later as we added a couple of more characters onto the pile (and had to make further changes based on the amount of cinematic work which was feasible to accomplish, regardless of how much writing we could do) — but Cassandra’s sexuality specifically was decided early on, back when Jennifer was still her intended writer, and there was no reason to change anything when I took her over.

 

I get that some people really wish they could romance her as a female — I’ll take that as a compliment, either for her writing or for the great job the rest of the team did on her — but I don’t see any more need to provide a justification for why she was conceived as straight than I see a need to justify why Dorian was conceived as gay. She simply was.

A few points: The Cass/Qun stuff stopped because it got so out of hand a mod had to step in and tell people on both sides to knock it off. I don't GAS if people post a few of their favorite pics between Cass and whatever race Inquisitor, but I hope the chest thumping on both sides is kept to a minimum. It just derails page after page of what can be a really nice thread.

Re: Cassandra fanfics. I think the lack of good Cassandra fanfics can be explained by the supposition that a lot (the overwhelming majority?) of fanfic writers are women, and women, by an large, are writing about romance and aren't writing from a male Inquisitor's perspective. You can find pages and pages of Solas/Lavellan and Cullen/Femquisitor, though. If you aren't absolutely stuck on Cass/Male Inquisitor, there are a few decent fics out there. I read a few with Regalyan, a few with a female Inquisitor, and a few with Varric.

Also in addition to fanfiction.net, you might want to try archiveofourown.org . They have some decent stories there that aren't posted anywhere else.

Really? I seem to have missed quite a lot. I didn't think either side was too serious. I certainly wasn't.

There are no tier 4 gear of any kind the only tier 4 are the dragon materials.

Besides the best 1h is craftable axe.
