Oh. I didn't think it was me. HAHA. Now I sound full of it. (But I guess I'm saying I trust my abilities??????)

But yeah. I just wanted to say that Cass is actually freaking tricky to draw. Even trickier than Morrigan...

Ah you know, I often thought the same thing when seeing most of Morrigan's drawings too, lol.

But I agree with Kinsz in that it seemed like that's how they chose to portray her. Lol I thought it was people wanting her to be trans or something. I've seen people mentioning that here before and wanted to slap them silly.

But it's probably just my ignorance as an artist. My art's mediocre. Highschool stuff.

I could use a coffee mug that has (Disgusted Noise) on it.

I'd suppose that Cass is a morning person given all of the training and routine that Seeker life probably requires.

She waits? Or at least spends the evenings reading with her Inquisitor curled up next to her?

Maker's Breath!  She is like.  'yeah I am a woman I can walk like this I just don't give a ****'. :P

Never apologize for giving out more Cassandra art.  :P

BTW I think I'm in love.  I have been in lust with far too many fictional characters then I would be happy to admit too but...I think I am actually in love.  I am actually starting to sympathize with the Cullenites, Talimancers, and the other people...Liaraphiles...a lot more.  She is just perfect...yet fictional. :(  *sigh* FML forever alone yadda yadda.

In that vain though I was thinking today.

Inquisitior:  Cassandra, I love you, and I want to-

Cassandra *in tone of voice like Varric* No.

Inquisitor: But-

Cass: No.

Inq:  You didn't let me finish what I was going to-

Cass: No.

Inq:  Come on!

Cass: No.

Inq:  Cassandra let me loooovvveee you.

Well, she reminds me of women I have fallen for. Elements from here and there captured a new way.

At the same time, I sometimes go the other extreme.. like Jack or Isabela (Isabela less so). Free/wild spirits.

My Cadash and Cass (and Josephine in my headcanon) make for a great relationship.

I'll admit, I'm detached then most, but I'll never understand genuine feelings for a character. It just doesn't compute to me.

All feelings for a character are genuine if you ask me. They just vary in levels of sincerity.

lol.. people actually sig their love for dwarf/human romances. Like it can't be just male/female (or whatever).. it's always the racial pairing fetish that gets brought up. Not that it's just simply a relationship.

Also.. Are you midgets in real life? That would make some sense. Because I don't understand where any of the pride and fanfare comes from otherwise. I assume I'm just talking mostly to other men here.   :)

I mean actual love. Like when you say you have feelings for someone, you aren't talking about the amount of entertainment they bring to you. There aren't very degrees of love, infatuation maybe, but definitely not love. Not in love, anyway.

Nah, I wouldn't go that far. I can be reminded of real women at times though.

It's always goes back to something real, in one way or another. Which is why I make fun of all of the fetishists. I have no idea what they're tapping into, psychologically.

I'm sure the people here are speaking in some measure of hyperbole. But if they're not then yea, I'd worry. But I agree with Streetmagic, you tap into something with these characters, whether they remind you of someone or remind you of feelings you had for another, etc.

I am indeed a midget. A 6'2 midget. If I were any shorter I might just vanish instantly and altogether.

To be frank, you two might "tap into something real." That doesn't mean everyone does. And if someone wants to play a Qunari/dwarf, they shouldn't stop wanting to just to romance Cassandra.

I'm not suggesting people all fall in love or anything. I mean, I like Cassandra a lot, and I can roleplay it, as I do roleplay and come very close to feeling as if I love a character, because I'm that close to the character I'm playing. I also write outside of roleplays, so that comes with the territory. But no I can't claim to truly love a fictional character. Not in that sense anyway though in a way I very much do. It depends on what we're talking about really. Do I go to bed crying every night because Cassandra can never be real? LOL no.

But if someone claims to like a character, I think it's rather impossible for them to not tap into anything real at all. That's like claiming your past experiences have no effect at all on who you are, what you like and how you think. That's frankly impossible.

I didn't say they had to stop. The fact that people actually take pride in this is a curiosity I both hate and am amused by. Until I figure it out or someone explains it to me, it'll remain this way.

So what gives? You're almost as tall as I am. If you saw Cass in a bar or market, would you suddenly think.. "damn I wish was this stumpy 4 foot bearded dude..I'd walk up right now. It's so ideal. It's the only way I imagine getting it on with her".

Where are you coming from as a typical male, I mean? Honest question.. I really would like to know. :)

All of it does kinda remind me of those shirts that say "I only bang white chx", or something. Or people that say black men were meant for white women, which makes me cringe at the stupidity.

It really does just seem like a fetish thing. Or like they need this pairing to be validated. A relationship that spends more time defending the relationship isn't much of a relationship.

You've seen shirts like that? That's messed up.
