The "eye" definitely is used often as an awesome symbol in fiction. Someone really should start using other parts of the face for that purpose. Like the nose. When was the last time an order used a "nose" as its symbol?

It wasn't a complaint, but rather an observation followed by a desire for more variety.

How is s/s fanart old? I understand if you want to see m/f art from DA, but most my life I've seen m/f art exclusively in every fandom I've ever loved... and when there was s/s art it was usually... well... not as "beautiful" (for lack of a better word) as what I've seen lately.

Don't get me wrong, I want variety too. I just don't see how s/s fanart = old, all things considered.

Edit: I hope this doesn't come off as "combative". I meant it more out of curiosity of what you mean.

Maybe the idea is to create enough of the fanart that it has to becomes true.  They can't invalidate all the fanarts!
