The surgeon still loves their family, but in order to keep the family supported, they must be willing to do the time and work.
But Cassandra will only have the eyes of Thedas :P

Except she won't be a surgeon but a frigging Pope. That's not just work it's a calling for life, she'll be dedicated solely to the Maker. So unlike more free minded and less morally obliged Leliana I very much doubt Cassandra will want to get a scorn of all the Chantry and common populace by having an affair, she's too much of an idealist for that.

I also don't believe in long distance relationships.

Now that is a weird scene. Inquisitor apparetnly in Skyhold wearing armor and having weapon equipped. And I never saw Cassandra doing this, I thought it was strictly Josephine thing.

It's done in editor obviously. Probably this one:

All I see is Wuthering Heights in the making. It's a classic story about being split from love, for no reason or fault of your own.

My Inquisitior would end up dark and all raging, like (Bane)Tom Hardy's version of Heathcliff. Or at least, I find this kind of funny.

I suppose now I will have to watch those Wuthering Heights to understand what you were talking about lol.

Yeah, if you've tried to have one (and I have), it's....not fun.

On a sidenote, Tom Hardy is playing Mad Max now.. so you get another rager who lost his wife. I wonder if it'll be better than the original.

Well my Inquisitor wouldn't go raving in Skyhold anyway. And it still remains to be seen what will happen. I just hope they won't pull Admiral Anderson or something, that would really cheapen Cassandra's character imo.

Not sure what you mean about Anderson?

I think Skyhold could provide some victims at least. Heathcliff doesn't kill people though.. he sadistically demeans them over years upon years...

So Cassandra flavored Divine Victoria...

Expansions or DLC. How will this be handled?

I really don't want to know, but if they do it, better hope it isn't some lame **** like King Alistair.

Needs to be talked about. And fact is you're not off the hook either. Lady-Seeker Cassandra is just as likely to be absent.

Well he gets appointed as a Councilor, but as he is a military guy(much like Cassandra) he becomes disgrunted with all political bs and steps down.

Oh, that's my first thought about her. I can't even imagine her getting up in the morning and being all that happy. Brownosers everywhere, her only friend gone, sitting around waving at people and doling out boons and favors. Yay! As much as people knock Leliana's ending. Cass sounds like she could be happy mobilizing the Seekers there. What I'm iffy about is Vivienne. I don't mind Viv as divine but it doesn't seem like Cass has the Seekers very allied with it. And Vivi also gathers more Templar recruits (meaning less Seekers).

I'd like a DLC based solely around saying goodbye to the Companions ala Citadel where the Inquisitor and Cassandra actually have to say goodbye but, beforehand, we'll enjoy romantic and heartbreaking scenes.

You're right.. but I know there isn't as large a guilt inducing obligation hanging over her as a Seeker. And she's still Cassandra. Instead of Victoria. Call it a small thing, but it means something to me.

By the way, I think I know why Cassandra stayed 'romanced' with my Inquisitor after she became Divine. When she asked what was next I went with the lovey dovey heart option and she asked what happens if she became Divine, I went with the aggressive "So be it." - Then you become the Divine. The tone in that option was like 'whatever it's just a new title and responsibilities, we're still us'.

I'd only like that if they kill my Inquisitor. I don't want to say goodbye otherwise.

So morbidly morbid. One would think you're RPing this as Sigrun Cadash.

There is also a heartbreak option during the dialogue at the final party. I guess she will stay romanced if you don't take it. Because in conversation you're talking about I picked "this changes nothing" or something along those lines.

I'm already a depressive and medicate for it. I don't like living with misery. Give me the blaze of glory. Go out like a champ and all that.. instead of festering in all the sadness. Want to make me sad? Then just end it.. so I can really move on from the series.

I was contemplating a DLC where Inquisitor and\or new Divine are under attack by assassins sent by the opposition. And it's done in ME3: Citadel DLC style - badassely kill the bad guys and then have fun with your companions in Val Royeax.

Bro, if you lived in my zip code I'd buy you a beer. You sound like you need some friends.

I don't think DA:I warrants something like a Citadel dlc. For Mass Effect it was a lighthearted farewell to the whole trilogy. For one Dragon Age game I'd rather get something more substantial and meaningful.

I'd rather go the Nevarra. But a fleshed out Val Royeux could work too.
