Nah, he's just like an innocent kid. I always side with Varric on making him more human so that he'd stop creeping ppl out. Btw, he has some good banter with Cassandra.

I think I'll reserve the conscript mages for one day. I actually restarted my mage (wanted to change world state), so I'm gonna redo Temps for now.
Such a pain in the ass though. I was playing NM. I want that achievement.. I'll never be a legit Inquisitor if In don't get it.

You're right actually. I just had a lot problems with Haven's battle. I ended up cheesing it and never killing Fiona. :\

The only challenge I had on NM was that prologue battle with pride demon, but mainly because of bad tactical camera and AI.

That's the key to Haven. It's a battle of attrition. They'll keep pounding on you until you run out of health pots. So save those supply caches for when you really need them and keep a stealth Rogue in the party.

IMO, Rift Mage is a pointless spec, and Necromancer is even more so. Fire Storm is the only thing that I'd really want. Pull of the Abyss is useful, but hardly needed when they already bunch together.

Rift Mage is the mad scientist of specs.
It puts me back on the frontlines with Cass too. I liked that with rogue and warrior. And at this point, her abilities make a cool counterpart to KE. They're both kind of hybrids.

KE ftw, especially on NM, can still solo dragons with it. Especially fun if you can get your crit chances to 50% - crazy dps specialization.
