About the romance... do you always have to choose the love option in the dialogue to make sure it will happen later on?

Are there any moments when you absolutely must do it?

 

No, I've skipped two or three and still got the romance to trigger

I like Hawke.. I could have easily seen her as Inquisitor (she's a hot little rogue).

Nope, I'd never leave Hawke there. I love that game. That's why waited for DAI... I guess some people bought this because they hated DA2? Go figure.
 
Anyways.. my current playthrough will have Loghain vs Hawke. Don't think I'll hesitate to throw Loghain under the bus.

That's what I thought I'd do too (same situation) but when I actually went through it and role-played, I was like, "Hmmm...the Grey Wardens might actually need Loghain. But who need Hawke? What's she actually doing?"

Plus, Varric annoyed me so much this game, I actually wanted to make him cry, so that actually made the decision easier.

But honestly i can't see mine becoming the inquisitor mainly because mine can't be a leader, she's a free spirit and goes from place to place for help, and reunite with Izzy sometimes ( ).
 
I gotta say, the scene with Varric and Cassandra wondering where Hawke is (if you leave her in the fade, nope not doing that nnoPE) is hearbreaking.

Wait, there a scene with Cass in it when you leave Hawke in the fade? All I got was when we got back to Skyhold, Varric's like, "Where's Hawke?" And my inquisitor gives him an awkward hug.

I think if you have Varric with you, as well as Cassandra, you get a scene of them questioning the Inquisitor about Hawke's wereabouts.

Varric annoys me, but not to the extent to really screw him over. He's just not worth killing Hawke. Screw the HoF.. but I like Hawke.

I'm not looking at the explicit one, but regarding the second one, the bodies and poses are a little stiff and less than life-like. I mean, it's a decent picture, but in a "this looks like it was done by a talented high schooler" way, not in a "$80 for this way a steal!" way.

::shrugs:: I mean, they're not mine, glad you enjoy them, it's just, if that's the level of work I can expect for almost a Benjamin, it's not something I'm looking into anytime soon.

Admittedly, I was an art history major, so I'm probably a little picky, but...yeah.

I also have a bunch of amateur artists in my family who can do some amazing things, so I'm also probably comparing it to their work as well.

I guess at the end of the day, all that's important is that you're satisfied.
