Besides, even if the Inquisitor convinced Cassandra to not become Divine, I think that would create a wedge between them that would never be spoken of aloud but it would be present. Probably some resentment.
I chose the "A new crusade for you?" option. Cassandra could do a lot to change things as Divine, but it doesn't seem that she's happy if she's elected. Granted, she'll do her duty irregardless of how she feels about it but the restoring the Seekers path seems better for her.

You know, I think if I could truly spread the Chant of Light in these games, I wouldn't hesitate to put Cass there. She would do it best.
But I can't.. And more than likely, this world will turn to sh*t again anyways. And the Chantry probably mocked by Bioware in newer, funnier ways in the next game. Despite how many fans it has. Perhaps darkspawn will come back. O perhaps the Qunari will have a gangbang session on all the clerics. Oh, the fun! Tee hee. Ha ha.
So what this Divine choice to me really is about is control of magic. Not changing everyone's quality of life per se, but magic. I know I can make an impact there. And I'm happier with Vivienne. I agree with her a lot. I've even kind of fleshed out a new backstory where I'm starting to see her as my mage's mentor and... mother figure. lol (The Ostwick mage had another one who died, if you recall).

Stop being so self aware. If you found yourself in Thedas you'd be a Chanter stuck on Board Duty. All the kids would make fun of you and I'd have to scurry those snotty bastards off every time I'd pass through on the way to turn in a bounty.

Preach it.
The point is, Cass' original goal is presenting the Chantry's image better to everyone.. she wants to spread the Chant like any follower of Andraste, but she thinks it's best done by example. I agree with her completely.
The sad truth is, that doesn't matter. It's just fluff. The only thing with real impact is the magic choice.
And even then I'm not sure. It might all swing radically one way sooner or later. "We stand on the precipice of change."

I agree, but I don't think you can change his mind. And it's his game as much as ours.
Although, anything that's truly staunch anti-magic is pretty much unsupported at this point. Strong Templar view got shafted.
