Oh i loved Liara too. I just hated the treatment she got in ME3. She became a joke all of sudden, didn't do that much (only with the Crucible thing) and hell, everyone found out she was the Shadow Broker.
Almost made me think Sam was the SB and not Liara.
Well, she was in a sense. Liara was the one who would originally have gotten all the intel Sam gave you.

It would make more sense if Liara was the one who informed Shepard about the intel and not Sam..

I so hope that this will happen after it was revealed that we will visit the Winter Palace and that there will be a ball and social/diplomat/invatigator events at the Winter Palace.

It's possible that Cassandra particapated to lots of balls in her life and is quite accustomed to all the girly clothings.
It's not because you are wearing armor, using weapons and killing things that you don't like shoes and pretty dresses...
True. She just seems to be a very sword-oriented person as we've come to know. I can't see her comfortable in something that separates her from her armor. But who knows, she could be full blown Lelianna-like behind closed door. To me this would be unexpected. Amusing, but unexpected (and adorable)
Remember how Evangeline attended a ball in full body armor because:
a) She was there to protect the Divine.
b ) Being a Templar, she was not expected to play the Game.
That's how I imagine any participation from Cassandra in any ball will be. She'll be there in her armor as bodyguard to the Inquisitor.
