of course you can still dance with her. Just don't get your dress caught in the metal plates and try real hard to ignore the clunky armor noises.

if she makes as much noise with that armor as she does in my mind she can serve as the entire percussion section of the musicians.

Remember how Evangeline attended a ball in full body armor because:
a) She was there to protect the Divine.
b ) Being a Templar, she was not expected to play the Game.
That's how I imagine any participation from Cassandra in any ball will be. She'll be there in her armor as bodyguard to the Inquisitor.
That makes sense. It would be a waste, but maybe that would give Bioware a convenient excuse to have the Inquisitor and friends in armor in an Orlesian party. "The Inquisitor needs protection and the Inquisition is above the Game".

I'd hate that. I want the Inquisitor to have three separate outfits that we get to customize- casual, formal, and traveling etire which will include your armor. That makes sense. I guess that means we won't be able to dance with her
You don't need a fancy dress to dance,of course it will far trickier with the armour but I doubt my inquisitor will care.
Plus,it's the perfect opportunity to scandalize these haughty nobles. ![]()

I have next to no clue about how it works, but don't many military organizations have ceremonial or parade armor/uniforms that they can also wear for things like formal parties, marriages, and such? Maybe she would show up in that?

Usually in our world we do have "dress blues" which is basically just uniforms intended for formal wear. I do not know about medieval knightly orders. I would imagine though that they had some sort of ceremonial armours.

I'm really looking forwards to having Cassandra as a companion in game. I imagine she'll spend a lot of time being exasperated with my whimsical, snarky inquisitors, but the more I see her, the more I'm intrigued by her character. I assume she's probably been trained in appropriate ballroom behaviour, but I can't see her being particularly enthused about it ![]()

She grew up as a noble. Her character kit even mention the lavish life style she left behind to join the Seekers. She doesn't care about it now, but there is not mention about her hating it. She doesn't give the impression of being a "rebellious noble" either, she's actually a bit of a stuck-up actually.

I'm hoping for atleast a few myself, haha.

We're gonna need a "bullshit" counter, an "angry glare" counter, and a "stabbing things" counter for Cassandra.
Maybe a "holding swords at people's necks counter" too.

I never got why her saying that word literally once has become a catchphrase for her.
