o.o Cassandra seems to eventually let go of Varric's betrayal but I doubt she ever trusted him again.
I'm not sure what betrayal you are referring to. If it's the argument they have

Agreed , im pretty sure if Cassandra was still upset with Varric , she'd let him know every chance she gets , look at her relationship with Blackwall for example, she used to respect him a great deal but after finding out that he deceived them, she can barely stand to be around him lol she actually told him that she'd rather he never speaks with her again. Thats the type of person Cassandra is , she doesnt play pretend.

Exactly, besides Varric is the one who holds grudges. I thought he'd never stop ribbing Cass about stabbing that book! I love their banter
It's why I missed the Cass/Sera stuff.
These events happen mutually exclusive, Cole doesn't talk about it if your romancing Cassandra, which is the only time she talks about it, so yeah. Not true.

Spoiler, she openly admits she doesn't blame him (and by extension the said person) for not trusting her considering her connection to the Chantry, and the fact that she failed to explain why she was seeking said person in the first place. It was a real learning experience for her. At least that's how it happened in my PT
Nope , she tells him about it because she asked him about his love life first then retaliated by asking her about hers .
By the end of the game their relationship seems to be good, their banters between the two of them is testament to that.
If you say so.
I've seen more bickering and and resentment in their conversations more then anywhere else besides Sera and Solas.
At first sure and that was mostly on Varric's end, then the dynamic of their relationship changes , you dont have to take my word for it the banters are up on youtube.

Varric was being an ass when Lady Pentaghast was asking about the rebuilding of Kirkwall. She was very sincere with the question.
Cass is the ideal woman, nuff said.
Yep.
Puts out on the first date. My idea of ideal, lol.

She never said that.
She said it wasn't about them truly.
Not that Varric didn't betray the Inquisition.
So yeah, I don't know where you got the whole "they are blameless spew"
She just took at as a personal failure of that betrayal.
That conversation can go a number of ways depending on choices made before and during it.
Oh believe me I've witnessed most of them in game, the dynamic of hostility and mistrust never fades.
We've played different games then in mine , there is no hostility or mistrust after the whole Hawke fiasco.

They developed a very warm respectful friendship in mine, how about you?

Sera is my favorite rogue with her. I think it's a shame that a lot of people hate her.
All of them are good though. I just don't have the connection with Varric as I did when Hawke. He plays the victim too much.. and the lies aren't as funny.

I'm in the "love Sera" camp, so no worries there, and now that I've spent some quality time catching up with my bro, Verric, she'll definitely be coming along more often. Plus, I still have to do her romance, I've been saving it for my qunari run. I hear she's a fan

I think with rogues I always prefer the physical ones.. the duelists, the gifted. Not the stealthy conniving little shits, who escape my punches.
I knew a guy just like that.. escaping everything. Finally someone I knew stabbed him and threw him off a balcony.
..Ahem..But I'd probably like to have them around, rather than be the enemy. Get them to screw over someone else.

Really street? That's pretty hardcore.
Well, I don't take any pleasure in it. I hope it didn't come off that way. More like, I'm just saying karma is a ******.
But yeah, it's true. And the guy who killed him I knew since we were little kids. He is serving 60 years till parole.
And people wonder why I became a hermit and play games. ![]()
Hi everyone, I just want to put my two cents about Cass (do you guys call her Cass or Cassie is accepted?) ![]()
I really appreciate Cass as a character and with each playthrough, I'm loving her more and more. She's brash yet compassionate, strong yet able to question her self, full of sympathy, soft in the inside in such an endearing way ![]()
While many people might not like Cullen, it's actually Cullen's personal quest which made me appreciate Cass even more: she's the only one who had been supporting him all along, knowing the consequence yet putting so much trust in him. That's really something.
In any case, Cassandra's the best female character in DA:I ![]()
I'm making a guy for her next PT, once I finish this current one. ![]()

It's Cass for me. Or Cassandra, of course. ![]()
Hey, I like Cullen. While they're not the same, I think the romances probably fall under the same category. Have fun
