Sorry for blurbing over the whole spiel about folks being and unreasonable and all but this was the part i wished to respond to.

You can't claim rights to an opinion.... Because it's an opinion. That's kind of how that works. You can't say "Well, I think this, this, and this..." and claim copyright when someone else mentions it or recites it.

 

You don't "own" what you say. What in god's name gave you that impression?

You can claim your own information as your own , its been done, it was accepted, its an established thing.

It's my signature and I want it in, because I consider the exchange humorous. It's not inappropriate, I didn't change what you said. Anyone can go to that thread and see it themselves.

Property rights have been established over individual words, i don't see why a sentence would be a stretch.

 

Honestly the only thing really hampering it is that, the forum it was posted on isn't under my ownership.

 

But i am not attempting to sue, i am merely asking it be taken down.

 

And until this, it was fairly reasonable.

Actually no, I labeled it as theft.

I'm not removing it and I'm not discussing it here in the thread from here on. If you've reported me, then the mods will take care of things one way or another, so discussing it here when it should have been handled in a PM in the first place... is very unnecessary and I won't contribute to it any longer.

The only banter I had with them two was how Cassandra should use the power she has to get even more power. The only time I saw Cassandra in a dress was as a kid.
II'm glad that Cassandra stays true to herself even as Divine. I like Vivienne, but I hope Cassandra doesn't heed her advice.

You cannot own words, unless that specific word is part of or the whole title of a franchise, work of art, or intellectual property. Even then, legally, no action can be taken if it is apparent that the word in question is part of the common vernacular and not used in a context related to or similar to the copyrighted or trademarked work.

 

Bethesda tried AND FAILED to sue Mojang over the use of the word "scrolls". Games Workshop tried AND FAILED to sue over the use of the term "space marine" (space marine as a generic blanket term, not in the pretense of Space Marines as in Warhammer 40k).

 

Actually, it's Games Workshop. They'll probably try to sue me now for making fun of them failing a lawsuit.

Considering how most of Gaider's romances have gone, I think people expecing Cass to remain if she's divine are just in for disappointment.
