If Thedas had internet, I bet Cassandra would have some ridiculously girly blog, then when Leliana found it and said how "Adorable she was in secret and she should show her more womanly side more," she'd instantly delete it.

He is able to destroy every demon in the Fade, but at the cost of also destroying all friendly spirits, he can become a demon himself to take control of them, or he can turn everyone in Thedas into a half-demon. None of these choices seem very... Appealing."

Damn. I'm finally going to have kill Hawke. I just realized on a new playthrough (already at lvl 10) that somehow it's the default world state with a male mage Hawke.
Time to die, my fellow mage. You were part of the problem.
I guess this story works. Hawke frees the mages, only to have it bite him back in the ass. And time for the Varric sad scene.
Sorry if offtopic. More like just coming in to say hello. Hope the drama dissipated.

Yeah, I'm just a little bummed.. because I wanted the Warden and Inquisitor (and Cass and Morrigan) to be mortal enemies.. I don't know if they'd ever deliver on it, but it just sounds badass.
Maybe if the Inquisitor kills an Arishok...
I'll kill every one of their leaders..each time they pop up... if I can.

You shouldn't blame Cass too much for liking Hawke though. She's got a good heart and got over a lot of hate.. and wants to see the best in mages. Varric spun a good tale.
I'm thinking default Hawke is truly the blood mage type from the trailers though.. lol.. he's just lying in this game. This is how I'm gonna justify it. Another conniving little ****.

I head cannoned that each of the gold rings adorning the Arishok's ears, horns and armor were taken from opponents or to symbolize them.
Also o.o we kill the chief's eldest son who named himself that out of vanity.
Apart from that, we killed strong but unthinking beasts.
Not the best of a hostile civilization.
