I head cannoned that each of the gold rings adorning the Arishok's ears, horns and armor were taken from opponents or to symbolize them.

Also o.o we kill the chief's eldest son who named himself that out of vanity.

Apart from that, we killed strong but unthinking beasts.

Not the best of a hostile civilization.

Whether Arishok is tougher than a dragon in reality though, a thing that big, and ten of them! And she's a pentaghast who looked up to her dragonslaying bro.

 

Obviously I'm overthinking it, lol. I think it's really just the devs trying to make Hawke seem legitimate.

You shouldn't blame Cass too much for liking Hawke though. She's got a good heart and got over a lot of hate.. and wants to see the best in mages. Varric spun a good tale.

 

I'm thinking default Hawke is truly the blood mage type from the trailers though.. lol.. he's just lying in this game. This is how I'm gonna justify it. Another conniving little ****.

I hope he is, lol. Because my Hawke is the sarcastic kind, so when he's talking **** about blood mages, I imagine he's internally laughing his ass off.

It's about ability.

The Arishok Likely could not take the punishment a dragon could but he also likely could kill just as easily as it.

And the Devs gave Hawke a major win that's true.

Historically those beasts are a legion unto themselves, if you read the information on the Arishoks vitaar.

Looks? I think she's sad. Hawke is an hero that tried to bring things to peace. Something Cassandra admires, plus defeating the Qunari was a tale she quite enjoyed.

Pff, he didn't obliterate an army. Corypheus' force in haven went bye bye under that avalanche, and hawke only killed one measly dragon. Booo.
