ROFL DON'T
Does Cassandra say different things in this custscene (war table cutscene) if you ally with the templars (I've always conscipted them) and never make her dissaprove anything? Like, when you say that if anything, you're guided by her and she says smth like: "Clearly, you haven't been paying attention".
LOL sounds like your disposition with her's kinda low. She doesn't like to conscript them, I know that.

That's what i have, but i am not sure. Might be a follow up with the proud gif.

Leliana is the one who comments more if you ally with the Templars at the war table. Cass is satisified and quiet. ![]()
Approval is messed up for this quest. If you conscript them, Cassandra disapproves, but later in the war room defends this choice.

She's just going with the flow. She can still work with it. It's also just Disapproval. Allying with mages is Greatly Disapproves (while this is Leliana's preference). Conscripting mages is ideally Vivienne's favorite, I think.
Idk, she says something along the lines of "you haven't seen what they've done" to Cullen, when he starts whining. If you ally with them, she says something like "even after all they have done?".

I think the mix up of different types of approval is cool. What you're doing is changing the future direction of their potential careers as Divine. That's why there are mixed feelings. They all have their own vision of how they'd like the Chantry, but they can also see it work in different ways.
But at this point none of them are even considered as candidates and don't know that such possibility would arise.
That she has a giant scar down her face and is basically the only LI for straight male characters.

Yeah I know.. I'm just saying, even at this point, all three are visionary, big picture types when it comes to the Chantry.

What is this even in response to? Anyway, her scar is badass and just makes her look even better.

mmm...ok?
What is the big deal about Cass having scars? Heaps of people have scars.

I felt obligated to scar up my own character because of her.
But not overly so. I've seen some characters with the whole face scarred. With tattoos to boot. That's just tragic. ![]()

Well, I don't know, except for that one decision, she approved of everything I did, so her approval at this point should be quite high. Maybe it's not approval based, but decision based? At any rate, if someone can post this whole cutscene with allied templars and flirt option chosen, I'd be grateful, cuz I'm kinda curious.

That would make sense, since even if she liked you, it's obvious you're not following her example if you conscripted the templars.

She is pragmatic, conscripting may not have been her ideal choice of action but it got the desired result in the end, she can respect that. You needed the Mages or Templars help and gained it, and from that succeeding in sealing the breach, regardless of how you did it.

I usually get the oh great, blind leading the blind comment from her.

In this video the templars were offered an alliance. Cassandra greatly approves.
Then this happens:

I still maintain that approval is messed up in this quest.

Ah I was thinking of the scene when she asks what guides you and I haven't conscripted Templars, so I took her reaction from conscripting the Mages to be similar. I couldn't remeber her reaction when allying with them though, thanks for the vid.
I don't think the approval is messed up though, she agrees with keeping the Templar Order as a symbol over disbanding everything they symbolised but as a Seeker her role is to sort out Templars that fail in their duties, thus she is frustrated that they won't be taken to task. It would make it feel like she or the Seekers failed. That is my take on it anyhow, accounting for her pragmatism.

Yes, the dialogue goes smth like this:
Inquisitor: If anything, I'm guided by you (It's a flirt option)
Cassandra: Oh, excellent, the blind leading the blind.
Inquisitor: I don't think you're blind.
Cassandra: Clearly you haven't been paying attention.
Inquisitor: Haven't I?
So, that last line is what she always says, or are there differences if you've allied with the templars? Also are there any differences in the rest of the cutscene if you've allied with them?

Maybe so, it's not that important anyway. Just led to some confusion, when I first saw this in the game.

That was pretty much word for word what I got when allying with the Templars or conscripting the Mages. So I don't think there is any difference in the response to the flirt option there.
