To answer that question EVERYOOOONNE!!!!, but in all seriousness, I doubt she's a damsel in distress, hell she will be the one who rescues the Inquisitor. She only need to be rescued once because BioWare nerf her badassery.

Nah the only reason she probably needed 'rescuing' in the first place was because she was caught unawares, in the middle of the night, sleeping, wearing nothing but a night gown and her underwear (wait she dosen't wear that!  ) and then was trapped by fifty guys and still managed to kill 45 of them.

The sight of Cassandra sitting in that jail ceil calling on the Maker was hard to see. But the demon still threw Varric's body in the room, so I headcanon that Cassandra went out like a boss.

This would be the creepiest **** ever. You're dead asleep from late night tumbling, then you wake up in the middle of the night, notice she's in full ****** body armor with her sword over her chest like she's at a ****** pyre, then you're like, yo? What the ****? Her eyes were open the whole goddamn night, and she just slowly turns her head towards you, not blinking and says... "The bears... always watching. Waiting."
