So, just to get a conversation going what was the moment when you realised you were helplessly enamoured with Cassandra Pentaghast??? Anyone?
"I am Cassandra Pentaghast. Seeker of the Chantry."

I'm really excited to see how Varric and Cassandra interact in Inquisition. They have this rocky history together that they've obviously overcome if they're still traveling as a team. I hope they are sort of Odd Couple best bros who disagree all the time but still have this shared understanding. And Cassandra scowling every time Varric cracks a tasteless joke. All the Cassandra scowls.

I hope we find out that they have a really obscure common interest, like betting on nug races, or collecting invisible statues of Andraste ![]()
Lady Nuggins.....I bloody love your username ![]()

Do we know if they travel together after the DA2 interrogation or not?
It seemed like parted when Cassandra left and Varric stayed in Kirkwall.

DA2 didn't really give any indication as to whether they traveled together. It was mentioned later somewhere (not in the game) that they did leave together, or have been together since. It might have been in one of the early magazine previews last year, if my memory isn't playing me.

Yeah, that one. I remember now.
I was mentioned in interview last year as well from what I remember. The Game Informer reveal wasn't the only source.
There was a tweet not too long ago that said you pick up Cass and Varric separately. Let me try to find it.Do we know if they travel together after the DA2 interrogation or not?

Why thank you!

Hmm, perhaps I am making false assumptions, then. I think I saw a vague mention of them traveling together and ran with that in my head.
If they are separate, though, then all the better to have some initial tension leading to bro-dom. Them meeting for the first time since DAII and having an initial "ugh, it's you" conversation would also please me.
It is possible that they traveled together but somehow got separated in the midst of the chaos.
Cass and Varric are totally gonna end up as total bros though, regardless of how they meet again and stuff.

No worries...I believe you ![]()
I wonder why Varric leaves Kirkwall then...hmmm.

In Bioware's canon, he leaves and joins Isabela and King Alistair on a quest

You know I can totally see them ending up like this,in the demo she puts a hand on his shoulder, when he get's all sad about the massacre in the village.

Assuming the Game Informer reveal is still accurate, he might have left with Cass but the two ended up parting ways some time later, and by DA:I they are no longer working together.
Just something to consider. At least that would make sense.
On the timeline, that occurs after Hawke flees Kirkwall, but before Cassandra finds and interrogates him.In Bioware's canon, he leaves and joins Isabela and King Alistair on a quest

I completely forgot about this. Almost mixed it up with post-DA2 events.
100 pages of Cassandra luvin' yay!
May not be as impressive as the 1000 of the Cullen thread, but oh well. Still cool ![]()
Happy 100th

They were not working together, they were traveling together from Kirkwall to where the game start (it was mentioned in some tweets when someone asked how long after DA2 the new game start).

I thought that happened earlier.
Doesn't DA:I start shortly after the DA2 interrogation? At least I thought so.

Wait, so they were traveling together after DA2? Now I'm all confused again.
