Your "paragorn" Shepard has a terrible case of lazy-eye.
It kind of looks like fetal alcohol syndrome to me.

Yeah... not sure how they achieved that. Renegade Shep doesn't suffer from that, must be paragorn only.

Say what?

Oh, hey Liara.
JK, Kaidan's over here, being hot.

I love Shepard's facial rig.
Paragorn is Aragorn's lesser known, less successful younger brother.
He was known as Cider, because of his love of of the alcoholic beverage. He eventually died face down in a Bree gutter after a night of drunken debauchery.

I think it's actually that particular eyeshape/facial structure combination.
I do remember having some trouble with those eyes, and some facial structures animate better than others.
It might show UP less on renengades because glowing robot eyes.

Yes, femShep's renegade eyes.... glowing bright red... looking down at Jack when she's pointing a gun at Aresh... "Kill him.... You're a killer, Jack. That's what killers do."

(Knew I had one somewhere).
I never use Liara and disliked her in ME1. In Shadow Broker onward she is rehabilitated as a character but not as a squadmate.
Liara hate is a result of people feeling she was given priority over the other squadmates. That and she has moments that make you think she is ideal LI. I actually like Liara but I agree with the idea that she was forced on the players.

This is pretty much my sentiment. It feels like some of my Shepards had a deeper connection with her instead of romanced Jack, Miranda, or Kelly.

It doesn't help that there are glitches in the game that seemingly want you to love Liara and force her on you as well. For example, in my current trilogy run, I never spoke to Liara in ME1 unless I was forced to by the game. I romanced no one. Then in ME2, I completed a romance with Miranda. In ME3 now, I'm building a relationship with Cortez (this Shepard is... complicated) and despite that, I still get this when talking to Aethyta:

So friggin' irritating.

Garrus has a better connection with Shepard than even Liara, I say.
Also, complaining about that is understandable with Jack and Miranda, albeit pointless, but Kelly? Really?

If you didn't actually romance her maybe. Her romance sucked, the only decent thing about it was the romance scene, having all the content in the world means nothing when you spend most of it constantly having to reaffirm your relationship. There is more intimacy between Shepard and Ash when Shepard cradle carries Ash to the Normandy after she's been injured by Eva, than between Shepard and Liara the entire game, it's fricken ridiculous.
Her character was caught in two roles, one as the lover for people who romanced her the other as a close friend for people who didn't and she sucked at both. She was too overbearing as a friend and too distant as a lover. Garrus and others like Tali were done right though, their roles as lovers and/or close friends didn't conflict, no idea how they messed up Liara so badly.

Isn't all the complaining we do here pointless?
As for Kelly, why the heck not? ...okay, I guess I know the reason but I like complaining. At least she got more content than pre-Citadel Jack or Miranda and her picture doesn't infuriate people.

I've never romanced Jack and Miranda, was their romance content pre-citadel that bad? I can believe it since you see them far less than you see Kelly, but damn, was it that sucky?
With Garrus, you choose to continue the relationship in the first conversation in the forward battery, then lock in during the Presidium shooting contest. With Tali, you call her up to your cabin, reaffirm the relationship, and from that point forward there's no question. Never romanced Ashley in ME3, but the first half of the game is spent establishing trust (or not).If you didn't actually romance her maybe. Miranda's romance I liked, but without the Citadel dlc, she got very little. Its unfortunate that she wasn't at London to get a hug or the evac scene( as stupid as it is) to say a last goodbye. It was very bad that she couldn't hold/put up Shepards nameplate.
The same can be said about Jack though I never romanced her.

Granted, but it's a bug, not Bioware forcing you to love Liara. There are plenty of other dialogue bugs too.
Everytime I see these threads, I'm tempted to jump in and start arguing.
But then I remind myself: why bother. It's not worth my time(and certainly not my nerves) and it's not going to change anybody's mind. Liara haters were, are and will stay a sad bunch. Me, I'm happy to have her as my chosen LI.
Could her romance be better? Certainly. Am I happy with what I got? Most definitely yes, even with all the friendzoning. And as far as I'm concerned, her romance is better than pretty much any other, sans perhaps Garrus. And she is(once again, personal opinion) the best character in the game and the most useful and powerful of all team members, so yeah. That's good enough for me.
Sure, it sucks to see all the hate, but as they say... haters gonna hate.

They are pretty short. With Jack you get to make out with her when you meet her in Grissom and later on in the shuttle (the kids will also comment how awesome Shepard and Jack are for dating each other), and for meeting her in Purgatory the conversation is longer. And that's about it. Miranda you get to reaffirm your relationship when first meeting her, and meeting her in the apartment results in a slightly longer but touching scene.
Kelly is pretty similar to both of them where her conversation bits are slightly different. After saving her from Cerberus she'll subtly ask if Shepard is seeing anyone and Shepard can respond that it's always been her. She'll then lead him to the back of her cubicle and she'll give Shepard a picture of her ME2 self.

Give in to your anger!

That was my take as well. And while I might have a few minor gripes, I think she was much better written in ME3 than in ME1.

As you say, Liara is the one you chose, so of course her high amount of content will satisfy you. The only drawback I see for a Liara fan is the dual relationship Bioware tried to stick her into, in which she apparently failed at both. For me personally, I don't hate her. She is a character that I didn't see having a strong case to be in combat in the first game (on the Normandy was fine as she was the Prothean "expert"), and my main gripe (same as I have with Garrus) is the fact that the is assumed to be my bestest friend. I'm happy that you're happy with your experience, but I would rather Bioware just go ahead and state that "This is your LI" rather than underhandedly canonize one through sheer content/plot relevance.

I realize that... I even said it was a bug. It's just one of those irritating things with Liara, piling up with all the rest that makes it seem worse than it is.
