What evidence? The only evidence I saw is her being thrown acroos the screen like a sack of potatoes on Thessia by Kai Leng because she stood there panicking while Kai Leng ran towards her whereas a soldier would've shot him.

To be fair Shepard pretty much does the same thing. Kai Leng just has that ability to make the people around him act completely stupid, it is his greatest weapon.

You mean like a trained assassin would have shoot him, instead of running towards him? Like an experienced soldier who surived Torfan/Akuze/Elysium and god knows what else would have double tapped him after leaving him lying in his pool of blood, or at least hear him panting, walking... dragging his sword behind him when he approaches her?

Yeah, good thing Liara is the only character who suddenly becomes incompetent when in vicinity of Kai Leng, right? :P

You keep talking about ingame evidence, but that is exactly what people don't like. I have Shepard's that were complete douchebags to Liara, but somehow she's still my Shepard's best buddy. They've spilled blood together? Please, Antony Shepard picked her up last and never helped her with the Shadow Broker.

I like Liara, but you can't keep talking about "ingame evidence" when that is exactly what people have a problem with.

I never said it was a good thing what Bioware did. But, they decided Shepard and Liara are friends. We can moan and ****** about it all we want, it ain't changing. In game, Shepard and Liara are friends.

Thane was stupid. And yes Shepard was dunce in some scenes thats why I believe I was playing a stunt double throughout the game.

Ashley/Kaidan did the right thing in shooting at eva even though they were seriously injured

Why is it she always dies in combat? I put her in cover and for some reason wants to charge her way to enemy getting gunned down so quickly. She also is able to get killed from a husk hitting her 3 times. Its one of the funniest things I saw in the game.

You've been reading tvtropes, I see :D

Though that does make sense...

True, I have, but that's not how I arrived at this. See, the reapers were building a human reaper in ME2. They used the Collectors to abducting human colonies. What was the purpose of this Reaper? Was it: 1) to try to let all the other reapers in again so they could kill everyone? OR 2) was that part of the Haestrom plot where the Geth might have been creating a wormhole inside the star to let the Reapers in just in case the Collectors failed? OR 3) was it because they thought that humans had the finest DNA in the galaxy available for processing Dark Energy and if the Collectors had been successful, everything would have been hunky dory and there wouldn't have been a need for an invasion at all! That one 2 km Reaper would process all the Dark Energy that the mass relay system produced via the process known as Space Magic.

They only needed to abduct a few million more humans, but Shepard screwed it all up! And the Geth weren't ready either because Shepard screwed up that as well by killing the Heretics or rewriting them! So they had to invade by the Alpha Relay.

It was a good thing they started flying that way three years earlier... just in case, right Mac? But then they changed their minds and decided that it was all because of synthetics. Yes. Synthetics!

See with Dark Energy there would be no reason to reap the entire galaxy. Just humans. Just Earth. Why attack the Batarians and the Turians. I mean just hit Earth. The Council wouldn't do anything. lol. Build your reaper to suck up the dark energy and go home. See how special humans were? But with synthetics it's different. Everyone had them. And there were the Geth! So they now had to send in a bunch of synthetics to kill all of us so we wouldn't build synthetics that would kill us.

Understand now?

But really humans are special. That's why they had to take lines away from Liara and make her sound like she suffered from the Asari version of Alzheimers at times. Forget she asked you if you wanted to pick up where you left off in your LotSB relationship, then immediately friend zone you. Be useless as a SB because those lines went to a human because they made humans smart like James, Anderson, Hackett, Shepard, Joker, The Illusive Man, Udina, Ashley, etc. Come on, they had to give humanity a break. So they gave the lines to Traynor. We had to have someone with over a 90 IQ.

I always roll my eyes when Liara lovers claim Liara hate is due to a lack of interaction with my preferred character. My favorite character is Garrus and I got more time with him than I expected. Bioware completely blew me away with his ME3 romance, I couldn't be happier with him. I loathe Liara because the virginal, uber young, hero-worshiping nerd bait and male fantasy trope irritates me. And then Bioware combined that with a human-looking, long-lived alien "babe" (personally, I don't find her attractive, especially in ME1) who can magically "reproduce" with male and female non-asari (Bioware: "Look, young male players, she even has a legitimate reason to want to sleep with you! AND you can pair her with a female Shepard so you can indulge your lesbian fantasies at the same time!"). Her voice is monotone and its "breathy" quality grates my ears. And I like my personal space, so her unending obsession with Shepard (especially with my Shepard who picked her up right before Ilos and never spoke with her outside of the required conversations) just makes her repulsive.

Strange, I've never had a problem with any of the squad constantly exiting cover in ME3. ME2, however, it was a pain for some characters. Kasumi was easily the most annoying in this respect, because she kept leaving cover the moment I put her there, so she'd run into the line of fire of all those engineers and mechs in her loyalty mission. From then on it was all Garrus, Zaeed, Jack and Miranda as my preferred squad. I treated Liara like I treated my mages in Dragon Age. I always tried to position her somewhere behind Shepard and the other squad mate, and use her powers as crowd control. With Javik or an Adept Shepard, the combos are really powerful. Granted, this is on Normal difficulty. I don't play Hardcore or Insanity so I can't speak for those.

ME3 sometimes gets bugged like this. My ME3 install is bugged for Krogan. Wrex is useless in The Citadel DLC. He just stands there and dies. The only way around it is to uninstall and reinstall the game and start a new game. It can pick a random squadmate or maybe you'll get lucky.

I think one of the only problem spots in terms of squadmate survival that stuck out in my mind was the Rachni nest mission. I was never one to micromanage my squadmates in any of the Mass Effect games, but that mission presented a bit of a challenge for both squadmates to stay alive because the last fight had us going back and forth to take down the Reapers' fortifications. So the Ravagers caught my squadmates unguarded and obliterated them.

Otherwise, I never really told them what to do and they didn't have a whole lot of trouble surviving (was on Insanity too). Probably because a majority of the areas are very corridor-ish and thus the enemies in single player can't really do much besides act as bullet fodder. The more open levels, i.e. the N7 missions, were a bit trickier in terms of keeping the squadmates alive since sometimes they would get bum-rushed by enemies. ME1 and 2 were a frustrating exercise in making sure your squadmates wouldn't act suicidal

The others did it a couple of times, but no where near as much as Liara did in ME3. I don't recall ever seeing Liara do it in the previous games

His AI is disastrous in general. Most of the time he'll stand there at the start of a fight and use up all all of his grenade ammo on the stim packs and there's no way to remove the power completely using the gibbed save editor  I had to stop bringing him to the combat simulator altogether.

Really? During the fight at the car lot and the Citadel Archives, Wrex was insanely powerful for me. I didn't even bother trying to manage him and just let him melee the snot out of every CAT6 mook in sight. The only time I had a problem with him was in the Armax Arsenal Arena, but from what I understand, both he and Grunt experience this problem when playing against the N7 Mirror Match.

Liara, Kaidan and Ashley were all hellbent on going Rambo for me in ME1. Ashley at least had the ability to wield better weapons and armor from the get-go, so I didn't mind it with her. In LotSB, the only time I really had to keep a close eye on Liara was at the final point of the exterior of the Shadow Broker's ship, since drones, engineers and vanguards were firing from all directions.

The only problem i had with T'Soi in my latest playthrough was her standing around watching everybody else fight but her. Got very amusing after a while.

But then suddenly she'd snap out of it and bust out the awesome sauce.

In my first play of the game it was Garrus who kept dying. He wouldn't even fire his weapon. I ended up with Liara and James.

Nice picture von uber, but you fight on ramp. Ramp very bad. No cover.

I usually biotically charge out of there the second the ramp opens. I love when it's done right after one of the mercs laments how they're just cannon fodder to slow Shepard down.

Well dual singularity followed by warp and lash means that you don't need cover :D

Have you ever wondered how when you're in the Armax Arena wearing Cerberus Armor fighting Cerberus how they know you're not Cerberus even if you don't shoot at them?

The enemies you face in the Arena are simulations, not actually the real thing.

Not that it makes a difference. None of them fall for the Cerberus armor. Heck you can convince Ashley/Kaidan you're not Cerberus while brandishing their logo.

I pretty much exclusively use squadmates for priming combos, so I'm perfectly fine with them standing around.

Even Fallout only halfway got their disguise system working. I put on NCR armor to clean out the prison the Powder Gangers took over and max out infamy regardless. I put on Legion armor outside Nelson so as to do a bit of recon work, and immediately hear a tear of gunfire as Boone opened up on the NCR squad I told him to wait with.

Then there was that time I picked up (or, evidently, "stole") an empty can on the floor of the mess hall in Camp McCarran, and Boone started shooting everyone in sight. Either Boone has completely cracked, or the NCR is very aggressive about protecting the trash on their floors.

God help you if you were role playing a courier that was like Monk and was cleaning up the place.

Ah, yes, Nelson. I like grabbing a sniper rifle and sitting on top of one of those hills and picking 'em off. Damn that's fun.

But remember Morrowind? Wear Indoril armor in Vivec? They must have had some secret handshake or something.

...I admit, sometimes I feel compelled to dispose of all the discarded trash at a campsite I'm using as a "player home."

Loved picking off legionnaires at Nelson and Cottonwood Cove. Still, the sniping mechanic could have used some work. It's crazy that you can slap a night scope on a varmint rifle fresh out of Goodsprings and start effortlessly temple-tapping powder gangers from half a mile away as though you were an ex-SEAL or something. Probably should have added "shake" like ME1 had, contingent on your Guns skill (and remove it from ME1 - seriously, an N7-level Alliance Infiltrator supposedly specializing in sniper rifles has cerebral palsy for the first half of the game).

There's probably something for that on NexusMods, come to think of it...

 Yeah, they trolled us with that dead Redoran guard... Everything was fine. Then I found that helmet and thought. Cool I've got a full set! Went back to Vivec... bad idea. Fast travel to Balmora. Not good Not good.
