Iron Bull ought to have meter-long dreads, but otherwise it's cool.

The in game shots we've got of the inquisitor so far haven't shown any hair, either.  And Cassandra has short hair.  And Varric's chest hair is hidden from the world.

That look itself is fine but i prefer variety. Although i forget the iron bull is bald since his horns compensate and vivienne has her Maleficent hat so it doesnt matter

I wish Solas had hair, I have to admit. The elves build is always so thin and spindly, it makes him look like an alien to me. I think the other two look fine, especially Vivienne when she has the hat on. If she's going to wear that hat almost all the time in game, the hair would have probably had clipping issues, anyway.

Nothing wrong with bald people and baldness in general,but I definitely prefer flowing locks and glorious hairdos...Each to their own I guess.

I'm completely fine with all the bald and short haired companions, as long as I can choose to give my Inquisitor ridiculously long, flowing hair.

Varric's chest hair is the reason they're all bald. All those glorious manly chest curls are too much for the engine to contend with, everybody else had to shear their locks so it could make an appearance without the game exploding.

 

Sacrifices must be made for the greater good.

More than anything, I'm impressed that they managed to create three bald characters and make them all look completley, entirely different. It speaks well of the character designers, imo. I mean the difference in race plays a part in that too, but. Anyway, Vivienne's hair cut of choice makes perfect sense for her because having more hair would naturally maker her hats considerably difficult to manage and wear, Solas' lack of hair very much contributes to his whole shabby renegade mage look, and it seems fairy suitable for Iron Bull as well. So I really don't mind, basically.

The only change I would do to Solas is give him that half bald samurai hair he had in the War Room art. Only because I think it looks totally BA.

With Varric's chest hair and Feathers' beard, there is more than enough hair in the Inquisition.

Given the previous depictions of hair in DA and ME games i would like all people to be bold if possible. I am aware that the new engine will improve hair immensely but still.....look at Varic's hair at character kits.....nuff said, military hairstyle all the way.
