We've just had a tweet from Alistair's voice actor saying he's at Bioware!
Wether you like him or not, it's pretty safe to say Alistair will be appearing/having some sort of cameo. So, what capacity do you think it'll be in? Inquisitor has a passing chat with him? Stumbling drunkenly through the streets? More of a major story plot?

Since I made this topic Gaider has confirmed that Alistair certainly is in Inquisition, but he is not a companion. 
Maybe he just has to record some battle-cry as Alistair plunges into battle when the Inquisition is attacking the Warden fortress and he dies. Or, if he's drunk, he'll be fighting in a bar and dying. Or if he's king, he'll be dying at the peace conference in the beginning.

Guess he wasn't in talks with Bioware for a while because earlier he tweeted he wasn't in DA:I. I'm glad, I love Alistair! DA:I is gonna be amazing.

Edit: I have to say though, I know what he looks like and yet it still confuses me every time when I hear -that- face using -that- voice.
I knew people were seriously overreacting when they took Steve's tweet that he hadn't been contacted yet to mean "No Alistair in DA:I". Regardless, glad to see that he'll apparently be in it (unless he's voicing a different character, which would be a strange move on Bioware's part).

Imagine if Steve is actually voicing Solas and he uses the exact the same voice he uses for Alistair. That'd confuse and bewilder many of the anti-Solas pro-pretty-boy players.

Alistair is my favorite character from Origins and always my LI. While I wouldn't have been upset if Alistair didn't make an appearance, I'm looking forward to him nonetheless. My canon Alistair is a Warden, I wonder what he is up to...hmmmm.
I'm most curious about a Warden!Alistair (Mine is king, I'm so happy about the Keep) because of the suspicious stuff the wardens seem to be up to recently.
And also, I don't want to be 'that person' but how old is Alistair exactly...? Could we actually be seeing his Calling during DA:I?
