Yeah, I don't find drunk and pathetic funny in the slightest.   Not funny in real life and it wasn't funny in game. <gives a steely glare at Oghren in Awakening>

 

Grey Warden Alistair was also pretty good too.  He was a bit more melancholy than King Alistair seems to be, but wasn't at broken shell of a man.
