Being a Warden in Orlais tells me *to* consider him a possibility. Age be damned, if the writers want to give him an optional one-last-hurrah they will. Old age and high susceptibility to the taint would make me even more likely to write him in, were I on the staff. That's a story right there.

Also considering he may have not gone through with the Dark Ritual.

He was in his late forties as of DAO, he isn't that "old".

He's 50

I'm almost certain he was 20 in Stolen Throne which was 30 years before Origins.

He's 50

Same difference, he would be sixty or so in DAI.

Older people have been Wardens.

A 60 year old with the taint? Doesn't sound too bright of a future, to me.

Loghain could reappear as a spirit or demon.

It's the combination platter of 60, The Joining'd at 50 (it isn't a linear-scale "30 years" deadline like many incorrectly believe, but rather gets worse for you the older you are for it) and just generally being rather jaded that, to me, serves up his old-age dinner.

I.... doubt that, but anything is possible.

Didn't say he wouldn't be in rough shape, in fact i wouldn't be surprised if he was but a year or two from his own calling assuming he hadn't gone already but I'd also point out he isn't the same as most people of that age.

He kept fit and in shape despite his advancing age, he was a capable warrior who fought toe toe with a Warden less then half his age.

Just saying.

If Bioware casts him, i wouldn't oppose it, in fact I'd love to see Loghain again.

The Hero of Riverdane needs one last Charge into Glory.

Even if he only appears in a cameo and then promptly is a war asset err...i mean asset of the Inquisition, i don't care.

I feel like his story is over. There's nothing more to really explore, imho.

It's very likely that the Dark Ritual didn't take place and he died a heroic death, I believe that was an option in DA2 as well.

I'm just saying, he'd probably be decrepit and I mean, his redemption is over if he's lived. What else is there to tell?

I enjoyed him but it'd be like seeing Anders again for me, what more is there to know?

He would be present as an aging warrior in a world that past his generation and viewpoint behind, he is like Gaspard in that regard.

He survived in a world where he wasn't meant to, lived through the war he wasn't supposed to and survived despite everything coming against him, He would have actual time to just sit back and accept being a Warden.

Even if he just pops up as a Veteran warrior and representative of Orlaisian Wardens i would think that while his saga is done, it doesn't mean he cannot contribute to the future, one last charge at an impossible foe seems his style.

Great, you had to remind me of THAT fact.  :crying:

I've already been robbed of City Elves by Bioware. don't you rob me of Loghain as well.

Well, I suppose if the Divine is going to take something from me I should be thankful it's something I wouldn't actually have had in the first place.

It's Orlesian, again lol**

We'll just have to agree to disagree because I, personally, as I've said, feel like there's really nothing else to see of him. He's had his moments, and his time to shine. Including a major role in the first book.

I just find it very, very unlikely we'll see him.

Both of you, quiet. If I have to deal with Vivienne, you can deal with Adrian.
