I don't like Adrian, but if she has a point to appear into the story, why not.
What are the chances we'll see Adrian?

I remember when you was like this with Anders
Apart from the fact that Anders and Fiona are quite different I never defended Anders in this way. I defended my reasons of liking him but not Anders himself as a character. Now I'm defending Fiona herself, in all her glory.
Lulupab just stole my post.
I never forget the joke part but no I did not stole your post. You mentioned the obvious parts which I already knew about. I might have borrowed the witty line though (How dare you insult such a splendidly written character that does not make most Mary Sues sound tame at all?) ![]()

Obviously, but there are some of us who do.

Of course, mine was meant to illustrate how much of a goddamned Mary Sue Fiona is.

And I admitted to "stealing" the Mary Sue part but the rest of post is not something I didn't know about lol. It was the first time I smiled after reading a post made by you. It kinda stuck.

Fiona's rape and abuse background exist solely so she'll have a negative view of human nobles which will be proven wrong by Maric's heroism so he can heal her emotional scars with his magic penis.
Forgive me if I don't think that's a well written story.
I might have even been able to forgive it if it wasn't for the fact that the Maric/Fiona romance was arguably the worst I've read outside of fan fiction. These two have no chemistry, no common ground. She has nothing but venom and vitriol for him for a baseless reason and he has no reason not to respond in kind.
There's opposites attract, there's belligerent sexual tension, and then there's this garbage. This is "well I can't figure out how to get these two in bed so I'm just going to have them argue a lot. That's flirting, right?"
The cherry on top is that Fiona is, in general, a plain unlikable person. I don't know how anyone would be able to stand her company for more than five minutes.

Fiona was a rebel who pushed way too hard for mage secession, and as such, a crap ton of mages and Templars, as well as innocents caught in the crossfire, will die. To that end, once this war that she and Adrian started is over, I will make sure they are both called to stand for what they have done.

If Adrian is leading the Libertarians, I can see that being the cause for the Inquisitor to meet with her. I can see her being opposed to using the tranquility, which is something I would fully endorse.

I would only see Adrian if we get to see Rhys as well.

Name an elf Maric didn't bang when he saw her. Let me me help you. None exists. So blame Maric.

It's not like Maric held a gun to her head to make her have sex with him. Both were to "blame".

No, he meant "get off this roof before I throw you off of it." She was still at the final vote anyways.

This depends on how things go in Inquisition but the undeniable truth is no matter what happens she will always remain a symbol. Because of her all circles revolted and thousands of mages joined her at Andoral's Reach. Others had parts in it too such as Anders and Adrian and possibly Hawke but she truly showed that the "mighty" Templars and the chantry could be defied and in a proper way. Without killing or destroying any building. Anyone hating her is hating her because of the side she has chosen not because of her character. All pro templars would be worshiping her right now if she was a female elf Templar who went through all Fiona went through. Its pure truth and you know it.

Oh no. I hate her personality as well the side she chose. She, as well as Adrian, effectively decided the fates of nearly every mage in White Thedas. Every death from this war, both civilian, Templar, and mage, is on her head, and I will call her to stand accountable for it, good intentions be damned.

I would think Fiona would be leading the Libertarians? I could still see her being involved in a mage-inquisition meet along with rhys and fiona and whomever else is in power with the mages. Of course, just like Celene and Lambert(provided he isn't dead already), they could all die at the beginning of DAI also.

Well I kinda think as grand enchanter she would lead all mages not just Libertarians. Well at least those in "mage capital" Andoral's Reach anyway.

ACtually my opposition to Fiona is more along the lines of the idea that it was a stupid time to tweak the templar's nose. You don't call for that vote when the templars are that much on edge whent he agreement for having the conclave in the first place is to discuss tranquility. Its my opinion and others do and are more then welcome to view it differently, I just didn't see it as being an intelligent decision.
