And the one wielding the sword bears no responsibility whatsoever? The one who gave the order to attack when the mages (cough, Fiona) wouldn't just cancel the conclave they had permission from Lambert's direct superior, whom the codex on Seekers specifically say he answers directly to, without comment, also bears absolutely no responsibility for the violence?
*blinks, then backs away slowly*
Lambert attempted to end the conclave peacefully, he requested Rhys and then gave them leave to return to their circles.

I was referring to Yahiko, not Nagato. Since Yahiko is the person you have as your avatar.
Anders tried his damnedest to keep anyone else out of his crimes, can't say the same for Adrian ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
No he doesn't. He knows that Hawke will get caught up in it, and basically everyone else in Kirkwall.

uhh yes he does, he didn't pass off responsibility to someone else. I think you have the wrong idea of what I meant, or you played a totally different game than most of us did

._. Ach Ja?
Yahiko is kept active, his body is in a pseudo revived state due to the Chakra implanting rods placed through out the corpse.
He is a puppet, a path but his "corpse" still has semblances of life as i said.

In that case, everyone Sasori turned into a puppet is still alive too. ![]()
Anyway, we should get back on topic.
Peacefully isn't the same thing as "my way or die."
And Fiona picking that moment to spew her ideological nonsense was a bad idea on her part.
He wasn't there to coddle her or feed her ego, He gave a fairly simple ultimatum, he even forgave that treason temporary, even after Fiona violated the conclave he was willing to let them all walk away, alive to their circles.
And he had a simple request, the transfer of a murder suspect and possible demon influenced mage, and was denied him by an egoistical grand enchanter who decided to fight would be best here.
There was no "my way or die" it was more akin to "my terms are fair and better then you deserve so take them or what should be mine rightfully will be claimed by any means necessary"

Anders does take full responsibility for his actions, but he removed Elthina so the illusion of compromise was gone. "I removed the chance for compromise because there is no compromise." He wanted the world to see the truth behind the Chantry controlled Circles. "The Circles is an injustice in many places beyond Kirkwall. The world needs to see."
My whole point was that he took full responsibility and didn't involved any accomplices to his crimes, or place blame. He didn't say Hawke helped him and he didn't set her up.
imo, he's better than Adrian

I'd argue their organs didn't work. We know their nervous system and circulatory system didn't, considering they didn't feel pain and were "as cold as a corpse".

Yeah, Anders doesn't blow up the Chantry then go set up Hawke as the one responsible.

<_<'' Hush you!
Stop trying to dismiss the Divine!
I don't consider using Hawke to gather the ingredients for the high explosive you're going to use to commit a terrorist act, and then using Hawke as a distraction while you plant said explosive as "not involving others".

lol.

did he blame her
did he set her up
did he tell her why she was a distraction
did he tell meredith that she was the distraction?
the answer to all of those is a big fat no.
I am the Divine, you are the Maker. Get it right.
I'm a Paragon and I say to you both shush up. My word is law. I'm a living ancestor!

I'm not saying he put blame on Hawke. I'm saying he made Hawke party to a terrorist act without his/her knowledge.
The fact that Hawke didn't know what Anders was doing makes it worse, not better. Whether Anders puts any of it on Hawke or not is irrelevant; someone did that to me, I'd feel pretty damn responsible.

As I said earlier:
This is what bothers me. Why does everyone blame Fiona and Adrian exclusively? The conclave wasn't attacked because Lambert was attempting to arrest Rhys. Templars started leaving the hall when Fiona began making noise. The first thing Lambert says when he comes in is some antagonistic quip about them being children for not doing what they are told and follows it with what boils down to "**** the Divine, I'm in charge now." Which is exactly what Fiona does. Fiona refuses to hand Rhys over and stop the discussion. Lambert refuses to let them hold their conclave, or question Rhys to find out what may have happened. Both of them refuse to take the Divine's wishes into account because they both have too much of their own trauma wrapped up in the argument to make sound decisions. They are both at fault.
Lambert isn't making rational decisions based on his duty. He's making them based on his hatred. He is the Templar equivalent of Fiona. He assumes he has a right to overrule the Divine without even taking it to her first. He actually says he doesn't care what she thinks.

i understand what you're saying, but in regards to what I was talking about when I said he didn't 'involve' anyone, wasn't the same as what you're talking about.
