One show blows them all out of the water, however.

Gargoyles.

You truly deserve the Crown, Paragon.

Or at least order murder to take place rather than receive evidence that helps the Circle's.

Evidence that helps the circle?

Explain that logic now.

How would the Circle's react if they knew there was now a cure for Tranquility, and that Lambert ordered Evangeline to kill anyone who knew and destroy the evidence of it?

A cure for tranquility would help the circles at least in the case of morale. In the event that there's another Alrik, Knight-Commanders and First Enchanters know there's a way to help the victims. They probably wouldn't use it on those who volunteer like Orana, but it would help quell the fear of many mages and apprentices.

And as we see in the mage origin as we watch and listen to the mages practicing their spells under the guidance of Enchanters, fear is the greatest enemy a mage has when it comes to resisting demons.

Right, but that's irrelevent?

Lambert doesn't care about "truth", except when it offers him a chance to hate on mages. He tries very hard to bury truths that he finds inconvenient.

And it doesn't matter how he goes about investigating murders, because he's a total hypocrite who will himself commit murder when it suits him.

When Adrian killed Pharamond, she was doing Lambert a favour. He was just going to have the man made Tranquil again anyway, so his life was of no importance to Lambert. But he pursued it, because he thought it would give him the chance to hurt Rhys. Because, no matter what he claims to the contrary, all of Lambert's actions are driven by the desire to avenge himself against mages.

Yes and that flaw is part of what makes him interesting.  I liked the character because he was well developed even though he could have been very 1 dimensionial.

Ah, so you like him as a character but dislike him as a person.

this isn't real life, am I dreaming?

Hmm....a bunch of crap pick-up lines went through my head on how to respond to that.

There were some good ones but then I couldn't remember what they were and for some reason could only remember what an orc says in World of Warcraft if you type in /flirt. And while funny, isn't very flattering.

But ultimately, yes, you're dreaming of a wonderful Paragon who'll embody the stone beneath your feet, who'll be as solid a foundation as the rock that supports the mountains.

But if his entire character is hating mages, then he is one-dimensional?

I mean it's fine to like the character. I really don't care. Villains are extremely popular characters, for whatever reason. I don't pretend to understand it.

Ok, now you all really need to get a room.

Not all villains, but well-developed ones.

I sort of get it. A hero can be made or broken by the quality of the villain. What is Batman without a Joker or a Scarecrow? What is Spider-Man without the Green Goblin? A foil to act against.

Oh come on, I thought that was really clever with the whole 'stone' thing with the dwarves.

EDIT: Besides, I have this guy watching my back in case anyone wants to interfere.

Whichever one works for you. Nice thing about dwarves is that while we may be short, we've got a lot of strength.

Well, if you want I can set you up with Oghren if the straightness is bothering you.

a bit more on topic, I found this picture of Adrian. I think it sums her up pretty well, however I always imagined her with long hair
