Headcanon much? As this new Inquisition is completely independent from the previous one and the players will decide its course hence you can even be Qunari.

It's not headcanon. The devs have said multiple times that the goal of the Inquisition is to stop the "Agents of Chaos", a term coined by themselves.

Sure, you will have influence over the Inquisition to an extent. But the overrall goal will be mandatory to all players; you can't have your Inquisition become a group that defends the rights of the Casteless at the expense of everything else, for instance; much less spread the Qun.

I'm certain that there will be plenty of opportunities to side with mages; that doesn't mean there won't be mandatory mage enemies and since Adrian is an instigator of this war as well as an extremist opposed to compromise, she fits perfectly as an Agent of Chaos that must be stopped so order can be restored.

True. I expect that Adrian could be a potential ally, and I don't see fighting for the cause of mage autonomy to warrant being labelled an enemy. As the developers said, the player will be the "deciding factor" in the struggle between mages and templars, so I think Libertarian minded Inquisitors may see Adrian as an ally.

Didn't Bioware say that all or most of the characters from Asunder wouldn't be in DAI or something?

I actually found myself sympathizing with Adrian a bit as I read Asunder. Far more than I thought I would, having read descriptions of her.

Still going mount her and Fiona's heads on the wall if that's an option, but I'll do so with a bit more sympathy than I thought I would have.

Yep i'd very much prefer her to be a potential ally dependent on the stance of the inquisitor in relation to solution to the mage/templar problem.

How come you have so much sympathy for her?

She's the "ditched" Girlfriend trope Justinia.

Or that's what I'd expect anyway.

Yeah but like Hana said, she's the one that left, and for asinine reasons.

I think she regretted it once she saw him with Evangeline, but that aside, it was her that left so how does that trope apply?

She bases her entire Vindictive treatment of Rhy's and likely uses him as a scapegoat because of it, maybe tis vindictive girlfriend trope, or evil ex.

Either or.

I can't speak for that poster, but from personal experience I can sympathise with her. It's difficult living in a situation with very little freedom and privacy even if you have the nicest of things and three square meals. It tends to foster a lot of rage in some people. I'm not saying I think what she did was right, but I'm kind of surprised there aren't more mages driven by rage into doing stupid things.

Edit: I just reread what I wrote and should probably point out that I have never been to jail. :P

Its called suck it up and blame God for cursing you.

Eh, but look at it from the perspective of someone who hasn't read the books. We won't know that Adrian started all this. I wouldn't be surprised if run into her in game and she's an ally option. Maybe she'll even betray the inquisitor.

That would be lovely :P

You're saying the Maker points to people at random and decides to curse them based on actions they may take which may destroy his world?

It's called the Chant of Light, not the scream of pain, false prophet. :P

I honestly expect most of Asunder's characters to not appear. Adrian included.

That was very well put. It's an environment where some might fall into despair over their "curse", like Keili did, and Anders addresses the many suicides. Add to that the Rites of Tranquility and the recent Right of Annulment at Kirkwall, and it's easy to understand why Adrian wanted to see her people free from a system she strongly opposed, and she took steps to make that happen.

Aww. "Foul and corrupt are they who have taken His gift, and turned it against His children."

Either you're a false prophet, a false god, or you neglected to proof read your words before you passed them onto Andraste. Mighty ungodlike of you, I must say. ;)

Citing Anders as a credible and bias free source?

And really see her people free?

This isn't Mosses and the Hebrews being used by the Pharaoh as cheap labor,  Its a containment.
