Thank you, Bioware, for not going with DLC companions. Just focus on making quality mission DLCs and it'll be all good.
Or DLC with temporary companions. They seemed to have done well with MotA, Omega and Citadel doing this exact thing.

Good to bring armor customization back. But can we equip any weapon, regardless of class?
Thank you so much, Jaldaris93, for putting this all together and sharing with us! ![]()
I need to process all this. Wow, idk where to begin--the 40 endings, or........the jar of bees....?
My god, so much this.
Me: "I like Wrex because he --"
Them: "HAHA BUT WHAT DOES IT EVEN MATTER IN THE END MIRITE"
Colour me skeptical that the game will actually have 40 endings, or that they will be vastly different.
Everything else sounds good, though. Especially the beeeeeeeeees.
So, no Tevinter, then?
And is there any new pics?
They already confirmed that Tevinter wasn't in on twitter some months ago.So, no Tevinter, then?

They haven't confirmed yet one way or another, but it seems they'll go to the class weapon restriction (at least companions are confirmed to not be restricted to one weapon choice).
Dang it. Back in Origins, my Warden was a warrior with a bow as secondary weapon. That was so much better than be forced to use greatswords bigger than the ones you find in JRPG.
P.S: Why people are still so upset about ME3 end? It was nice and touching.

Awww. I must have missed that. I was really hoping for a slave rebellion and kill shitloads of magisters! (and a possible Fenris cameo). I just find Tevinter to be very interesting, seeing mages ruling.

Please, dear God, do NOT start this discussion...again. Look at the ME part of the forum, and you will find several reasons why.
(sorry for the doublepost
)

Some extremely blurry ones, and they look largely similar to the one in the German magazine.
If I had to guess, Bioware PR gave all of the media outlets the same pictures.

I'm happy others could find enjoyment in the conclusion of that game.
Me personally though, i tried to like it, heck i even tried to understand it, but i just want to rip that brat's head off and forget the whole affair ever even happened
Anyway, i'm interested on the crafting system and if we can outfit our army with different uniforms and weapons.
I get you and respect your plight, Jimmy.
I'd that Tevinter would be better shown as the main location of a DA game,. I expect to see it in the next game.
Yeah! Lets hope its not another three year wait for DA4. Tevinter as the main location must be so wicked.

I think they've confirmed weapon class restrictions, but companions will not be pigeonholed into a given style. Cassandra, for example can use a two handed weapon or a weapon and shield, and can take talents for either.
Odd red hue to Cassandra's hair. Might be the Isabela effect with lighting though.
The 40 endings bit is something I chose to take with more than a grain of salt. Bioware said ME3 would have close to 20 different endings too. Wasn`t really true, was it? Something simmilar was said about DA2 when it cameout, as well. In that game we got ONE ending, with the possebility of picking wich boss to fight first.
The rest of what was revealed here looks fantastic. Can`t wait to play the game.
And thanks to the OP for posting this.
Oh, so the OXM states that we'll go to Orlais and Nevarra's capital cities, in contrast of what stated o teb Gamestar magazine.
The text is also written as if Solas was a known companion, when he wasn't known at all when the journalist went to BioWare for their preview of the game...

I'm hoping in an expansion!
Hah, I read it all, and the bit that's really sticking with me is - how do we get bees into a jar?
40 different endings huh? Are we talking *real* endings or *ME3* rushjobs? ... 'Cause I seem to remember another Bioware Producer, Mike Gamble, boasting about the exact same things for Mass Effect 3 and we all know how that turned out.
How do we know that this time it's the real deal and not "Destroy The Fade / Control The Fade / Merge with The Fade " ? (and then of course, throw all criticism back in our faces under the guise of "artistic integrity")
Mass Effect's Bioware talkingheads promised the moon and stars in the run-up to ME3... and now here we are have all these things promised yet again. How would one know this is "legit"?
You don't.
You'll have to wait and hope that this isn't anything like ME3's situation.
There's literally no way of knowing if this is the real deal or not until the release date.
