To bring us on target a bit more. Lelianna would be pretty much our guaranteed spy master. I do like the theory of the two Hands of the Divine being unemployed. Though it does bear mentioning that according to Cass's wiki, she serves a different Divine than Leliana. Not sure how accurate that is, but if true, that would mean than the Divine(s)? Are each giving up one hand to deal with the Veil tearing.

I believe Cassandra was the hand of the previous Divine, the old woman who died and Leliana is the hand of the current and much younger Divine. I've assumed that Cassandra and Leliana are the current Divine's hands.

I'm skimming WOT and a few online sources but i am finding nothing about the sizes here.

Seems folks are just assuming.

Doesn't specify Libertarian or Loyalist size but does specify the rest. Combine this information with the way in which Libertarian and Loyalist factions are depicted in Asunder and that is the basis of my quite-admittedly-just-a-theory response.

Given his connections, I see Varric as a potential spymaster over Leliana. Just a thought.

It looks dead up like her, so I wouldn't be surprised. And that looks like a different version of Cass as well.

I always thought our Inquisitor was going to be high-up individual of the order.

It's gonna feel weird playing a Thedas-saving badass who's constantly under the boots of three other characters.

I've been considering her to very likely be Leliana since I cracked open Asunder a few weeks ago.

If I remember, Origins codex entries actually said which fraternities were which. Isolationalists beinf the smallest because "what if you need a templar suppressing your apprentice's fireball, you crazy nut?!"

Perhaps Leliana works the Orlesian side a tad more, since I could see that being perhaps out of Varric's range.

I don't think those three would be the Council (a la Mass Effect) or anything, just advisors.

Varric is already confirmed as a party member, so it basically couldn't be him.

Asunder mentions the "smaller" fraternities voting in between the Loyalists and Libertarians votes. The Libertarians have never been described as the smallest fraternity, and if it wasn't for the writing below your posts I would have believed that you had never read Asunder. It seems like you're the one who assumed that the Libertarians were a small fraternity and that most mages accept the circle.

They've pretty much said the reason you're the Inquisitor is because of the Inquisitor having Veil Tear healing abilities due to "events" at the beginning. Explicitly said you're not part of the Chantry.

I don't believe the Carta or Merchant's guild limit themselves, geographically.

I do all my browsing on a cellphone. You'll pardon my lack of thoroughness in these matters. You're right, there's nothing cited here.

They have been described as crazy minority nuts a few times, perhaps not in that wording but its clear their extremist views aren't popular among any one who isn't a nutter in their little club.

:P Fiona got the college closed after Braius kept it open despite all the turmoil, it took a libertarian to do that! Aren't they special.

I read it less then a month ago myself and i will say this, if it was a majority or mentioned as such in Asunder why wouldn't the novel be a cited source then?

Its events are detailed on the page, and yet it makes no mention of their numbers being overly great in the Novel or description.

Its people are clinging to grammar and phrasing over confirmed sources.

Thank you! That guy keeps argueing with us but where are his "cited resources" about the Libertarians being a minority and most mages accepting or enjoying being in the circle?

Given that Wynne killed the vote once, and would have done so again, it's not much of an assumption that most Mages do not feel strongly for separation. If not for Rhys changing the vote of the entire fraternity, without consultation and counter to how his mother would have voted, there still wouldn't have been a war.

Yet you will have to admit that the Libertarians aren't the smallest of fraternities, and they have enough leverage to have a Libertarian as Grand Enchanter despite the Aequitarians being the largest fraternity.

Where are yours countering the assertion?

You have not provided any evidence either.

And this isn't an argument an argument implies one side obviously isn't wrong.

This isn't the case here :P
