Am I the only one that loves when people nuke spawns on 11?
Most definitely, yes.
Am I the only one that loves when people nuke spawns on 11?
Most definitely, yes.
Ironically I thought you had with the answer you gave
That was actually the point of my post. I was beginning to wonder if I was being too subtle
Not subtle at all, really. Just didn't never feel like responding to innuendo.
Most definitely, yes.
I nuke spawns like an MLG.
It's fantastic.
And involves a lot of grenades.
So whatever that is considered.
So.....
My hat is tipped to everyone who answered in kind.
To those who didn't, it's probably because your style leaves you on the bottom constantly and you end up laying there helplessly wave after wave. I'd be pretty frustrated in that case too, but you have all the tools you need to turn things in your favor. I personally think being on top all the time is overrated too; it's a great feeling to expend yourself for the entire battle and finish in close proximity to your equal. In that case, it doesn't matter who finishes first or 2nd, as long as you and your team extract successfully and you are pleased with your performance.
>_>
If you're not first you're last.
I laughed. For at least 2 minutes.
I know there's a trend on BSN to celebrate those people who play aggressively and complete matches quickly, but I'm not convinced that's the best playstyle. I'm sure it's fun for you to finish quickly (especially when soloing) but what about your teammates, they might not be having fun and it could effectively leave a sour taste in their mouth.
I prefer to begin with a slow grind and give a chance for my teammates to warm up. As we start to work in unison there's a chance to pick up the pace and become more vigorous. There are several good signs if the team is working together.
1. The person on top between rounds keeps changing; which implies the scores are close on the scoreboard.
2. You start to synergize with a team mate, you both fit together nicely.
3. When the circle hack begins everyone rushes to it to come together.
4. On waves 8 and 9 everyone starts shooting their missiles loads like a pro.
The ultimate good sign is asking at the end wherever everyone enjoyed it or not. If everyone is satisfied at the end, I consider job done.
What's your playstyle?
My playstyle is highly dependent on the kit and what builds i have on them at the time. Anything that has a venom I play aggressively, if I'm sniping I tend to hang back. ARs are a mixture of both. Casters, depending on what characters I use like the Pheonix Adept or the paladin, I play really aggressive where as the shaman it's a bit of both depending on the faction. I normally don't play the shaman w/out an AM III anyway. I play with people who promote all the time so nuking spawns isn't a whole big deal for me cause the killstreaks help and speed up the leveling process. Also wave 8 on collectors gold tend to cause some instability on certain maps so the faster that wave goes, the better off we all are. Like yesterday I was in a very bad mood so I decided to use mountains of cheese. I'm talking incendiary reegar with AIU. Felt better afterwards.
Anyway, to answer your questions, #1 rarely happens, so does #2, #3 there's always one guy who's like I'll aggro everything while you guys hack who doesn't know that by having everyone in the circle makes it go way faster. #4, for the most part that's normal for me. I always like to toss off a rocket or two on wave 9 kinda speed it up a bit especially if the pug I'm in is doing badly.
Extremely aggressive. When I see the "Wave <number>" pop up, I start running for where I believe an enemy group will spawn and I kill them. If everything's spread out, I just pick off what I feel is the most dangerous at the time. Lately I've been trying to do Outsider Mastery so I've been playing the Drell, thus blowing everything up with cluster grenades/recon mine. Is also quite satisfying to be able to sidestep pretty much any bullet except Atlas shots.
Regardless of the kit I play, I will go on the hunt to kill enemies. If I am synergizing with a teammate, I will change it up to blow stuff up with them. As far as the OP's points go:
1. Changing kits? Currently, no. Need to get the "do 200 waves as <kit>" masteries done. Otherwise I change them out just about every match unless there's extreme synergy going on. For example, 3 biotic primers and me as a Novaguard or tech primers/detonaters and me as another to prime/detonate.
2. ^^^
3. I always do objectives asap and a lot of the times pug teammates will rush to do them as well. Is quite nice.
4. Some do this, I don't. I only save missiles if I know it's a guaranteed killstreak and I have plenty to use(I never use Armored Compartments so meh) or if I have to use one to either save a teammate, save myself or get the kill objective done quickly.
Regardless, if I see it, I aim to kill it. Especially phantoms...hate phantoms.
>_>
Sometimes I don't care about my teammates ability to finish before I extract. I encourage them to solo afterwards cuz I have to leave; their satisfaction is not my problem.
i hate fun
also i finish in 10 seconds and go to sleep straight after
also i finish in 10 seconds and go to sleep straight after
scrub I finish in 4 seconds and go to sleep for 20 hours
#GetOnMyLevelScrub
Unless it's Geth, those robotic sonuvabitches have to die no matter the cost. **** the team, **** extraction, someone's getting a cobra in the ****** flashlight.
This. So much this. Also: swarmers.
If you're not first you're last.
Pray to baby Jesus, adult Jesus is too mainstream.

Well then.
Sometimes I don't care about my teammates ability to finish before I extract. I encourage them to solo afterwards cuz I have to leave; their satisfaction is not my problem.
#1 - Basically never happens.
I cannot understand why. ![]()
I don't get it.
You are so innocent.
I don't like using my missiles for nuking, unless the match is going rough and I just want it to end quickly because I would prefer not to solo.
Most if the time I use my missiles to save teammates.
I have an agressive playstyle, but I'm also defensive toward my team.
Play FF13!!! ![]()

The innuendo in this sentence is too damn high.

You are so innocent.
Argent pls.
Play FF13!!!
Am I the only one that loves when people nuke spawns on 11? Could be that I am almost never level 20, which means if they want to spend their missiles to level me up, go right ahead!
I probably wasn't clear enough that I just meant I never use them myself, as a non-promoter. Your point is valid, and it doesn't bother me so much if that is the genuine reason for doing it. It's just that it tends not to be - it's just for score most of the time, and it usually jeopardises extraction bonus credits.
I like to chill out on wave 11, somewhere a safe distance away from all the action of the previous round, not rolling around in all the mess we've left behind.
I am always on the prowl looking for easy prey. So, I play aggressively with plenty of rage-gels and rage-rockets. Sometimes I will missile some enemies like a Geth Prime because I am not in the mood to deal with its BS.
