I know there's a trend on BSN to celebrate those people who play aggressively and complete matches quickly, but I'm not convinced that's the best playstyle. I'm sure it's fun for you to finish quickly (especially when soloing) but what about your teammates, they might not be having fun and it could effectively leave a sour taste in their mouth.
I'm pretty sure that 98% of PUGs are not masochists. They should be grateful whenever I roll around and relieve them from their suffering.

On Zain's host, prudent as a nun.
On a good host, YOLO!

LegionofRannoch would be proud, miss him around here alot.
Legion was before my time, but from asking around it sounds like they made similar threads, so thanks for the compliment. Given that, I think I would have liked the guy, the innuendo is quite light hearted humour and it's all a bit silly. Having some silliness in your life is always good thing.

Has anybody made a "two Asari, one Drell" joke yet? ![]()

Well played, OP, well played. Have to admit I didn't twig to it at first, but when I saw Crimson was activity posting in the thread, it was a dead giveaway... oops, nevermind. As for play style, I prefer giggling over innuendo.

Not my handiwork I'm afraid, those threads use to give me long vacations when I made in em in ye olde BSN. Ah memories.

Yeah, those EA admins used to smack the banhammer down whenever a thread had even a hint of fun. Speaking of which, where's your twin/sister-in-arms, Scarlet? Bring back the old crew, I say!

I don't think I gave my answer here. Personally, I take it slow, follow a more consistent approach. Sometimes I add some helpers to work things more easily, sometimes I mix things up with variety, but at the end of the day, I get the job done and everyone is satisfied. Of course, there's the usual caution, I wouldn't want accidents to happen.

Defensive, conservative, team-player. I like a class that can take hits and offers options. I tend to run with Human Sentinel or Turian Sentinel. Good Health, good DR, kits offer solid powers that support the team effort, and the class can run with just about any weapon(s). I'm never at the top of the scoreboard, but I don't care about that. It's a team game and I'm always there when my team's in a pinch.

Risk and reward.
I go to the face of enemy and use flamer and grenades, regardless of enemy.

Asari is how I play, just as FOP, Finn, or Didacus. Asari playstyle can be team player who considers herself equal with everyone else or egotistical elitist who considers herself superior to her teammates and ignores her team cause they are just slowing her down. The other playstyles I participate are Trollbinger, Spectator, Geth, and Disgrace from Tuchanka.

It has evolved over time.
Phase 1: FBWGG Counter Hugger
Phase 2: Flying Krogan Vanguard
Phase 3: Consummate Team Player (read: low score, 5 revive medal)
Phase 4: OnlyUseMeGI
Phase 5: Rise of the Krogan (not afraid of Banshees or Phantoms anymore)
Currently: Rage Quitter (on bad connections), otherwise Selfish Scorewhoore/Lone wolf, who plays strings of 1 match lobbies where everyone quits after that match because they didn't get to play the game much.
Also, gotta love a good innuendo thread.

Depends. With friends, whom I know their style and preference, I tend to be more aggressive. The downside is that it normally ends rather quickly. But then, we will just put on new equipments and have another go.
On the other hand, I take it slowly and cautiously with strangers. I let them to have their fun first, but it's not uncommon that they, especially the inexperienced ones, can't quite handle the situation and end up resting on the sidelines. When that happens, I become even more careful. But inevitably, my incompetence means I will go down prematurely. I will, however, immediately take meds, get back up and continue. Unfortunately, happy endings are far and few in between under those circumstances.

Fairly agressive until I get downed and realise I have to temper my playstyle because lag or because my character is a bit more squishy than i thought.

Ah yes, of course. I play like that whenever Collectors are involved.
