This is my attempt to create a concept of Korcari Wilds background. This is not a place where player can go during the gameplay, but rather a place visible in some cut scene or visible from some specific place of a gameplay area.

Your work is great, I always wanted to see more of Korcari and it look like I imagined.

 

These lands have a very important potential for the future.

What were the tools you used for the work?

I used PC with Linux OS plus GIMP 2.8.6 (this program is almost as powerful as the last Photoshop, but completely free, just like Linux OS). I know, this is not the mainstream, but serves me quite well... Plus Wacom graphic tablet of course. No digital painting is possible without that thing.

I heard about that...sadly I'm as weak in those sort of things that in drawing.

Thats really good, you've got the change in light qualities over distance.

I really need to start using a program like this, the layering or "cells" programs like that facilitate are useful and allow iteration.

Well, actually I'm learning to paint. Painting different things for practice. But I'll definitely create more DA and ME fan art

nice work! I think if the foreground was a little darker it would add even more depth to it but i like the design and the background! I hope you post more stuff!
