Hey,

Does anyone know any good documentation or API explaination for the OEIShared.dll from Neverwinter ?  It seems invaluable for plugin development, yet I can find so little about it on google.  So this is a long shot that someone does have some documentation anywhere.

Perhaps a symbol dump of the .dll file would provide some useful information?

hmmm symbol dump, I'll take a look into that.  I'm a professional java developer but all this c# and c++ stuff is easy to read and all.  But still way out of my JAR and WAR comfort zone.  It seems I can go to definition in Visual Studio Express to get all the methods in a certain class.  However there is no documentation on top of those interfaces :(

Some symbols might help in a google search for Obsidian documentation.

.NET Reflector it will show dll code like a decompiler instantly - that is if it is a .NET dll ;)

one good thing is i am fairly certain all of the obsidian code is .NET

the bad thing is - no they have not, or reflector does not, show comments.

Argh figures, it's nice companies strife to let us make our own enhancements to their products, but a little bit of API documentation never hurt anybody :(

Celludriel,

mess around with the different menu options - i vaguely remember some pretty cool options - there is a small chance turning on comments is in there - but maybe for some reason the dll i was looking at had crappy comments or something.

worth a look anyway :)
