OPERATION ENDEAVOR

Speed is of the essence, soldiers. The Quarians have located the blueprints for their new ship prototype thought to be lost during the Geth incursions in 2183. Joint Quarian and Systems Alliance strike teams will hit three key locations in quick succession to reclaim the blueprints and Quarian shipyards to return them to full production.

Mission One: Recover the prototype blueprints from the Geth, believed to be held in a facility known only as "Glacier".

Mission Two: Clear entrenched Geth/Reaper forces from the factories to restore the assembly line, gather some fuel reserves and tech from Reactor.

Mission Three: Humans have maintained Quarian facilities on Hydra which include shipyards and a dam to help power the facility. Secure the shipyards from Geth forces in this sector and defend workers from retaliations.

At least one Engineer must be present to oversee the capture and use of the blueprints. Quarians will lead the assault however if Quarian forces are limited, the Systems Alliance shall supply engineering squads as necessary.

Summary:
Squads made up of Quarians and humans (all Quarian encouraged) with at lease one engineer for all missions. You can have a designated engineer or switch around, the choice is yours as long as you have an engineer. Missions can be played on any difficulty.

Firebase Hydra/Geth

For fun, turn the Geth against themselves using sabotage and see how many you can get to kill each other.  

Operation will start Friday 12:01 am in your respective time zone and end late Monday.

Can't remember the last time I found geth to be an enjoyable enemy to fight without being a Kroguard or Krolord.

"Rocket Trooper, punch your friend. Geth Prime, punch your drone. Pyro, burn that Prime. Bomber, zap that other Bomber."

I am in the process of trawling through all video clips I recorded so I can trim and compile the highlights I was able to capture. Should be interesting.

• Lyn sticking a sticky grenade to a prime's combat drone.
• TKO: rocket troopers vs rocket troopers
• BBQ: geth pyros vs geth pyros
• Piggy in the middle: sabotaging the geth pyros following a prime, and watching the ensuing inferno.
• Predators: Hunters hunting troopers.
• (Not so) Clever girl: Hunters hunting hunters, mass cloaking and confusion ensued.
• Bombs away: siccing a geth bomber on a geth prime; the bomber won.
• Rocky IV: sabotaged geth prime punching troopers, drones and turrets to death.
• Shocking: bombers attempting to zap each other to death.

 

And of course, all of us cussing out the pilot for making us extract while there were still geth to sabotage

I don't know if I got the map correct, but just before play, I purchased a pack that unlocked the Geth Trooper.  Of course, I just had to try it out (the3Twits was playing Quarian Engineer), and we spent the next two missions burning Geth (Engineer's Incinerate, Trooper's Flamethrower).  Fun!

Anyways, I am only able to get online with the laptop on saturdays.  The desktop, used during the week, doesn't run ME 3 properly.

Oh man, the fact you managed to condense all that insanity down into 15 minutes is just incredible. So many explosions!

It was fairly easy as I don't have the full version of FRAPS so I can only record 30 secs at a time. Easier to pick out highlights from 15-30 sec video clip. I only had to go through an hour and fifteen minutes compared to the entirety of our matches.

 

Anyways, I am only able to get online with the laptop on saturdays.  The desktop, used during the week, doesn't run ME 3 properly.

Funny because my laptop with its puny integrated graphics chip will shut itself down if I play ME3 on it. Not surprising really as I've dumped about 100 hours of ME, ME2, DA:O, and Skyrim on the poor thing. Playing Dragon Age Origins at  7 FPS brings back memories. I'm surprised it hasn't fried yet. My bro gave me his desktop so my poor laptop was relieved of the burden I had placed on it with my gaming habits.

My laptop has a different video card than the desktop.

 

The Desktop runs all three ME games, but ME 3 has the Glare issue (all white).  Gives me a headache.

 

THe Laptop (fairly recent) also runs all 3 ME games, but suffers a Glitch in ME 1:  Ilos and part of Noveria, all chars are completely black. Irritating.  It also runs Skyrim better, as the desktop doesn't show fires (Flames spell, Campfires, all don't have flames)....
