What kind of companions are you hoping they'll be?

 

For reference, currently they seem to stand at: Varric, Vivienne, Cassandra, Solas, Iron Bull, Sera the Blonde Elf, and Bearded Warden.

 

Personally I'm hoping there's another mage. With mage/templar conflicts, red templars, breaking Circles, Fade tears and all sorts, it seems there should be a wide variety of mage opinions on the team. I'm hoping that Dramatic Hands Moustache Guy will be that third mage.

 

For the final companion slot, another woman would also be good. It would balance out the gender ratio a little. Preferably non-human (dwarf!). If we visit Kal Sharok, it would be interesting to have a perspective of both a surface dwarf and a native dwarf.

Cullen is also not 100% confirmed as a companion... not until BioWare confirms it, at least. Greg Ellis might've misunderstood "companionship" or might've only partially answered the question and confirmed that he's romanceable (still good news, though ).

 

It really depends on whether you want to trust an actor's interpretation of the game material.

 

Not to worry, though. Clarification will come, in due time.

And I'm sure that time will be when we actually have the game in hand.

 

Probably well before that. I know people on the forum leap on every bit of info and demand confirmation for every hint now now NOW...but, let's face it: we haven't even revealed all the followers yet, never mind a single romance. There are still many months to go before release, and the big marketing push has yet to really begin.

Well i believe people think he might be a rogue because they also think Cullen and Feathers will both be companions and warriors and that we will have a 3/3/3 class ratio.

I like the idea because of how ridiculous it is

 

I enjoy reading things like this, particularly things that people toss around as if they're simply givens and old news at this point.

 

It's too bad this leads to disappointment in the long run, but I guess that's really on the individual speculator,
