The guy on the far left, is that Alistair or Cullen? I can't tell. Looks like Alistair but could be the Inquisitor as well.

BioWare has said repeatedly that the survey contains false and outdated information.

 

It's fun to use for speculation, but it's definitely not fact and it certainly doesn't confirm anything or anyone. 

Of course. We have yet to hear anything contradicting it, however

'Certain character' doesn't mean Cole. And if Cole is a companion and not a LI people would still write fanfiction. He specifically said he's against it, so there are no reason for him to write it.

It's fanart. I'm going to add the link to the artist's blog. (i dont know why it wasnt done before. It's common courtesy to credit artist when you redistribute their work, especially without permission)

On second thought, we do have another piece of information against Cole being a companion in DAI:

• We know DG is writing two companions.
• We know he would likely be the one to write Cole since he wrote Asunder.
• We know he is writing two of the romances.
• We know the writer who writes a character usually (if not always) writes the corresponding romance.
• We know Cole won't be a love interest since DG seems to be strongly against it.

By that logic, Cole is unlikely to be a companion, which doesn't mean he won't be in Inquisition. Of course, this is all speculation.

I'm really hoping for an equal ratio of classes. 

If anything, I want another dwarf companion. Only having Varric as the dwarf companion for two games in a row is nice, but I really want more. Another dwarf rogue would be great, and then having Rhys as a mage... would make me happy enough.

 

Of all the Asunder characters, it'd make the most sense for Rhys to join the Inquisitor as a companion, seeing how his tale in the novel ended.

 

 

Indeed, another dwarf would be nice. Hoping for a female dwarf, simply because they kinda got screwed over in DA2. So having one as a companion would be nice. Looking more and more likely that it won't happen.

Yes, that's why David Gaider was a bit shocked ( and me too ) that some people wished he could become an LI.

mmm if I remember correctly, that leaked survey was the one with the little sketches of each potential companion. Is there an illustration of Cole, then? I don't recall such thing.

 

Another question: other than Seras/the blond elf, who is written by Lukas Kristjanson, do we know any authorships of the companions?

I don't think that Dorian is the Moustache guy.

Dorian wasn't supposed to be a Tevinter magister? For a character like that I expect someone more darker than the Moustache guy, who's like the opposite going by that concept art.

Anyway, I'm expecting the Moustache guy and probably Cole or a new character. Cullen seems redundant as a party member.

Cassandra is written by David Gaider; Varric and Vivienne by Mary Kirby. Or so I think.

Well, we've been told Solas and Dorian are completely unrelated characters, so I doubt it.
