I don't know why people complain about people talking about Cullen on a potential companion thread.
I mean, when you complain, people will respond.... which just turns the thread into a full-fledged Cullen Discussion Thread.

Anyway, I hope that we get another female as a companion. As much as I would love Cullen as a companion, I think we need another female. Too much Dude. Not enough Lady.

Hm. So could Dramatic Hands maybe be a seneschal or advisor? He isn't armored enough from what I've seen to be a chevalier, but he might be an arcane warrior. Also if he were nobility in Orlais, he'd probably be wearing a mask. So he's probably Fereldan or Tevinter. Or he might even be Rhys.

For DHMG, the speculation is heavily leaning towards him being "Dorian," the Tevinter magister. Which I would be happy with as well. I'm always down to have a different perspective in a companion that I haven't seen before.

I can't remember which thread it was in (perhaps even this one) but in one artistic rendering (the one with the giant chains, I think) there is a companion wearing something that looks very much like what Flaily is wearing in that War Room image. I rather like the looks of him, I wouldn't mind if he was a companion.

Indeed he's definitely controversial, yet a controversial character makes everything far more interesting, than your typical good /bad guy.
Besides I don't think we should have to like a character as a person and agree with their motives and actions, to appreciate that they're well written.

Which, if you mention in the Landsmeet, which actually makes you lose points. It seems like, in-verse, Loghain was hated far more for locking out the Wardens, quitting the field at Ostagar and then damn near triggering a civil war over the selling of slaves.
I really didn't like Loghain, even after I learned his backstory. I pity him, which isn't a good thing from me. I felt like executing him in front of his daughter was a fitting end to such a dishonorable shell of a man.
