5/5/6/6/4, durable shock decoy, exploding shock drone. Some high DPS light to medium weight weapon. Adrenaline Mod, because you can't vault over crap.

Skip fitness. Take Particle Rifle.. cloak, cast both pets and hose down all the garbage they attract.
Spec weapon damage in the passives because his powers do crap damage on their own. Your gun will do 98% of the work.
Was my standard build as well, but then I switched to the Claymore for more instant damage.
So far I'm very pleased ![]()
(6/6/6/6/0 build of course, I always use power efficiency 3 as armour slot)

You spec him with loveTM . Go fitness-less, lazor wielding, mind game playing volus and troll your enemies from distance with your troll drone and decoy!

No fitness. Shieldboost invuln frames, cloak, softcover, and standing behind your decoy will do a lot more than any "fitness". Spec both pets for boom. Remember that his damage is primarily weapon-based and take a weapon with good DPS before worrying about weight, both pets have low cooldowns anyway.

200 shields isn't much even with the DR, but IMO it's worth more for the extra buffer against incidental fire than the final ranks of Drone or Decoy.

4/6/4/6/6 or 5/6/3/6/6 or 3/6/5/6/6 or simply skip Decoy or Shield Boost all together? If I was to skip something I'm more likely to skip Decoy. Also what weapon(s) should I use? Your Opinions would be Helpful.
Depends on whitch difficulty you play on. on platinum, you could just use decoy on Level 3, and Shield boost or weapon damage on Level 5.rest full on Level 6.. may sound like Level 3 decoy is terrible, but it will help You more then you woud think of if you use it correct.

I play Gold and Platinum. I tried the no fitness build and I hated it! I'm going to use the 3/6/5/6/6 build I was going to use in the first place.Depends on whitch difficulty you play on. on platinum, you could just use decoy on Level 3, and Shield boost or weapon damage on Level 5.rest full on Level 6.. may sound like Level 3 decoy is terrible, but it will help You more then you woud think of if you use it correct.

full fitness gains you so little benefit it won't make a difference except placebo effect. sounds like you need to learn how to abuse shield boost's invulnerability frames.

What I noticed was against anything but Geth, Decoy was useless! It distracted nothing and I was getting one shotted. I would rather spec fully into health and shields and at least be able to withstand a single shot to be able to abuse shield boost. A no fitness Volus Mercenary might be for others, just not for me.full fitness gains you so little benefit it won't make a difference except placebo effect. sounds like you need to learn how to abuse shield boost's invulnerability frames.

Combat drone specced for shock is good enough at distracting, I do find the extra fitness alows me to survive situations I wouldnt normally be able to. His powers are not great offensively so you may want to put a hard hitting weapon on him

Zero hoots in fitness, equip spitfire, go spread some bullets in town and show off your shiny toys. That's how I've rolled with the fatty.
