Not a sidearm though! The Acolyte is the only one that quickly wipes shields and has a major weakness against armor.

Acolyte, Talon, and Arc Pistol are good against Shields and Barriers. If you need to spam the Arc Pistol, you're not using it right.

I actually liked the Arc Pistol long before it became a big deal around here, so you don't need to sell me on it. Just pointing out it is much better served as a primary than a sidearm since you will likely end up using it far more than a primary.

I did read the post and it came across as a "I liked the gun before you did" type of deal, which seemed childish. If that isn't how it was intended then I apologize. However, if you read how I said I liked it before it became a big deal on here and then read your post, maybe you could see why it would come across that way.
