As Interesting fatality if you know what I mean.
Charlie Sheen.
He even mixes in a little of the Alistair mystique, since his lineage somehow involves tiger blood.
Your right, Garrus is way cooler and more bad as$ than batman.
I mean, has BatDerp even killed anyone before??? like all his villains survive or go to jail....
Garrus killed 3 mercs with one bullet (or was it 4?) anyway's killed the first 2 dudes, then the 3rd had a heart attack.
Boom... Headshot.
The real question is does Garrus have contingency plans for his contingency plans? Cause until he does he is nowhere on Batman's level
Garrus doesn't need contingency plans. All the nefarious goals of Gotham's villains are quickly ended by mass accelerator shot to the head.
Now, Batman and Garrus working together....
Honestly though, I'm a Marvel man, and I've seen a lot of characters that are more interesting and powerful than Batman (not powerful in the Davidian sense mind you) to me.
Garrus was never impressive to me in the series, and his forced buddy-buddy thing in ME3 is irritating.

Power isn't everything. One of the biggest appeals of Batman is that he doesn't have superpowers, relying on wits and technology to pwn people who do. And I do believe he's the first "superhero" to actually have flaws and a tragic backstory as opposed to the immutable all-American good ol'boy Superman.
But yeah, apart from Batman, DC is pretty weak. Marvel is where it's at.
Everyone needs a contingency plan. When you don't have one things can go from bad to worse. (ex. Getting backed into a corner turns into your entire crew getting picked off one by one.)
Also I would pay for a comic that is just Batman and Garrus solving random crimes on the Citadel
Fair enough.
And someone has got to write that. Batman and Archangel, cleaning up galactic scum one by one.

Spiderman is more compelling to me. Or Hawkeye, who really doesn't have any powers. He's just a very skilled shot. Yeah, Batman came first with flaws, but I'm not looking for the Mary-sue characters like Superman anyway. And I believe that other people's flaws and backstories are more interesting: Tony Stark and his raging alcoholism for example. The man said it himself, you have to be drunk to strap yourself into that armor and do **** with it. Thor is my man, and he's got his weaknesses, and he has his flaws. His enormous ego for starters.
But more than anybody else, I'd actually say the Doctor is the most winner type guy to me.

I'm partial to the Silver Surfer myself. Also Spawn.
Any Batman fan will tell you it isn't Batman that makes his comics good it's the villians and the bat family. Batman is kind of an annoying character on his own unless he's arguing with Superman the he's awesome.
P.S If you want an example of a good Batman comic I would suggest "Death of the Family" by Scott Snyder who is a writing god
I never found Batman's villains that compelling (Joker notwithstanding of course). As for the Bat-family... I could take it or leave it. First Robin becomes Nightwing, then there's another Robin and Batgirl get cripped. And now there's a son for some reason... I stopped keeping track of it.
Though I like Terry McGinnis as the new Batman in the Beyond storyline. Great show.

He didn't impress me as well.

Thor, Cyclops, The Sentry, Emma Frost (she is a lot like Miranda, and a lot like the ideal woman of mine), Doctor Strange, Iceman, Silver Surfer, and Magneto are my favorites. I also like Angel too.

Cyclops, really? He's as squeaky-clean as Superman in terms of demeanor (unless the later comics made him darker, I haven't reall kept up).
If we're including villains, I'll add Thanos and Apocalypse.

Yeah, he becomes a lot darker, but still maintained to his goal (advancing human/mutant relations, but also holding a bit of a mutant first demeanor, especially after M-Day). There's a reason Magneto and Wolverine acknowledge him as the leader of the Mutants; Wolverine is being Wolverine, and new, darker Scott Summers isn't having any of that ****. Wolverine and he get into a fight, and Cyclops basically roflstomps him. Even when Cyke is a goody-two-shoes, he's still not to be underestimated. His optic blasts have been described as one of the most physically powerful abilities in the Marvel Universe. Concentrated, he's able to do more singular damage to a point than a nuclear blast, and he was able to overpower Vulcan (who is his brother and normally immune to his power).
I'm hoping they put him back with Emma again. Their feelings haven't tapered off, but Scott and Emma's actions have driven a wedge between them (they've both kind of screwed each other). I just hope they leave Jean dead for good this time. Shouldn't be too hard; she's more or less been continually dead for the last decade almost. Emma was the host of the Phoenix Force for a bit, and then Scott as well.
Anyway, read Cyclops page on TV Tropes. It tells a lot about how he's developed. He's not Mr. Goody-Two-Shoes anymore.
Magneto has become more of an anti-villain, and even an anti-hero to an extent. He actually acknowledges and answers to Scott now. There's an issue coming where he even joins the Avengers.

Ehh... I'd rather Magneto do his own thing. I've respected his position from the start. It doesn't feel right for him to bow down to another, especially when I'm not at all convinced Cyclops is stronger.
I'm not sure about Cyclops and Emma either. Not that I like Jean more. Just something about that pairing bugs me. Can't really describe it.
Oh yeah, Bishop's pretty cool too.

Read the comics. Scott's 'descent' is pretty convincing, especially when he starts learning things about Xavier that start to make him question and hate the man.
Emma and Scott are the OTP in my opinion for that case. Basically, their relationship evolves to be very similar to a more... Renegade Commander Shepard and Miranda in ME2.
Cyclops has pretty much proven himself how powerful he is. When he wants to be, he is arguably the most powerful mutant on the planet. It's why he got reclassed by SHIELD as an Omega level mutant by virtue of the sheer destructive power alone. He's the only Omega-level mutant that doesn't have the macro-abilities like Jean, Iceman, Storm, etc, but his concentrated power is described as akin to a nuclear blast that is condensed into a ray of concussive energy. His unconcentrated power (without his visor) is described as a hundred nuclear blasts at once at whatever he's looking at. That, and he's become much more of a chessmaster and magnificent bastard. He was able to out-think Tony Stark, Reed Richards, and most of SHIELD at once, and he was able to do it on the fly.

Also, Garrus hasn't got any "superpowers" which makes him Batmanlike.
The Punisher doesn't have any superpowers either, so....Plus there's the whole using firearms, extremely bleak view of absolute justice (i.e. killing criminals because of their profession) and converting their funds to finance your war against crime thing.
Also; Shiz, my thread got hijacked into a comparison between Marvel and DC. Might as well throw my two cents in. I'm a Marvel guy. Loved The Ultimates before Loeb got a hold of it.
