I´m trying to do a kind of speedrun, making only the essential mission in DA1.

I´m using cheats, so I have no concerns about the difficulty.

What´s the bare minimum that someone needs to do in order to see the endings?

Any help appreciated.

The game seems to require that you complete all four main quest strands (Ashes, Circle, Orzammar, Elves) before the Landsmeet can be called.

Generally you can stealth and walk past everything except for hostiles who are either blocking the exit outright - like the spider queen - or are too close to the exit for dealerting and transitioning, like the five darkspawn close to the Grey Warden cache in the Korcari Wilds.

Sometimes you cannot dealert without clearing the whole level, like on the 2nd and 3rd floors of the Tower of Ishal. Some triggers and scripts are broken, which can make things interesting at times.

Yes, I know, but what are the main mission and which ones are optional?

If you are on PC you can use console commands to blow right past all the stuff in haven and get to the gauntlet. I've done this when I'm not in the mood. It's runscript zz_urn_debug and then just I think you choose location to jump to and then the gauntlet. You then meet with the guardian. Have you team with you go to haven but don't even talk to the guard. I've done it a few times without issue. Haven and the whole temple is not my thing. You can do the same with orzamar if you really don't want to do certain points. I have blown off the everything up to jarvia in that part of the task but the coding with that can confuse and think you are working for harrowmont as the default. So save first before doing these. I've done them when I want to create a new character similar to others with some variations to bring into awakening since I've played DOA so much now that doing the whole thing is no longer fun for me. So I skill the parts that feel more tedious.

geth, there are a list of commands available http://www.gamefaqs....-origins/cheats

For the quick run stuff which I do when I really just want to run a different variable at the landsmeet and don't want to change the ending of one already made (which I have done but just going to a save from the landsmeet timeframe - saving before you leave eamon's or just when you get at the landsmeet is good for that) I have used the console commands a lot as of late to skip parts that I find less fun and more tedious. Here's a list:

zz_urn_debug  - gives options to jump to different areas after the urn. I think when I do this I usually just jump the the arl after. I choose the gauntlet from a location I'm at. You can do it anywhere. Easiest to have the team with you rather than use zz_addparty (name).

zz_ntb_debug for the elves/werewolves. I choose to jump right to the lady for that unless you want the juggernaut armor in which case you might want look at the options under NTB. I think you can choose which end of the forest.

ALWAYS TURN OFF AUTO COMPLETE - most especially for orzamar, which is zz_orz_debug  and for landsmeet which is zz_den_debug.

That's something I learned the hard way. It will fill in default choices. With auto complete off it asks questions, like for orzamar it will ask who you completed the task for. If you don't turn them off it assumes Harromont.

For landsmeet you can skip the rescue through this but I wouldn't recommend that because it bugs on the part where you set the prisoners free to help you at the meet. With auto complete off it will consider them on your side if you answer the questions saying you according to what you would have done, but I think that might have bugged out for me.

So if you want to do a quickrun without having to do all the different parts these zz_  debugs are great for that. You can just make the game of the parts you like the most. Like I always do the circle and the fade. Many hate it but I find it more fun and like the solo aspect of it.

I think zz_cir_debug is for the circle part. You can skip a lot of it, I think even go right to uldred but I've never done it - only looked at the design because I used to test software and systems and it always peaks my interest to see how they set it up.

For stuff relating to the arl it's zz_arl_debug, best used after you have done redcliffe and urn, so if you code through the urn, then you can use zz_arl_debug - or I think I have done that to go right to him. Of course, you miss random encounters this way, but the only ones I really am concerned with having are leliana's and Zevs. The rest are more of of a nuisance to me. So I don't mind skipping them unlike skyrim where I got a kick out of them.

Good luck with this if you use it. I hope it helps.

Thanks for the tip, but I´m doing it only for story research into the DA universe.

pc_immortal, killallhostiles and addxp (to reach maximum level) are really all a person needs. It´s really funny to see all on-screen enemies suddenly collapsing

Yeah, I do them when I want to get through certain sections. I love the game and like playing different aspects of it but certain parts feel more tedious and less fun after several playthoughs.
