Massively will defend that catsuit to the death. I'm thankful Getorex made that mod to put her in something more... inconspicuous.

"Shepard. Glad we could meet. I've been on the run from Cerberus."
"Miranda?"
"Don't call me that! I'm incognito."
"You're wearing the same-"
"No I'm not! See? I removed the Cerberus logo."
"..."

Silly girl, doesn't she know that the entire galaxy can recognize 'dat azz.

For ME2, yeah - the mod was for ME3.

And, of course there is the sexbot. Another odd attempt at titilation which managed to ruin an interesting character.

Bioware do make odd decisions with these things, they vary between naked liara, fully clothed shower scenes, arse shots, fades to black, perfectly modelled clunge, no nipples, nipple bumps on Allers' zeppelins and a sexbot.

I still do defend the catsuit.

Trust me, you really don't want to be wearing body armor unless you need to. And Miranda doesn't need to. This is one of those cases where Hodgson's Law comes into play as well. I won't defend it in every circumstance, but, then again, I won't hesitate to call out the weaknesses of body armor as well.

I can suspend my belief when it comes to the catsuit, but those heels hell no. Those things look like they're at least 6in, I' m surprised she wasn't constantly breaking her ankles running around in those things.

The only time it really bothers me is when I bring her to places like the Heretic Station or the Collector Ship where there are environmental concerns.

Also Jack's bulletproof, vacuum-proof tattoos. :)

I always found myself choosing between Garrus, Thane, Grunt, and Tali for the collector ship mission just on account of the vacuum.

The ME3 artbook uses the work 'sexy' (or some derivation of it) a little too often when describing how they want characters to appear. I think it would have been great if EDI and Joker had a Her thing going on and she never got a body at all. Or if she did get a body make it a customized LOKI mech (with the Normandy color scheme) that she only uses outside of the ship to be with Joker/crew when they are away from the ship, other wise on the ship keep her in her chess pawn form.

Tali and Garrus are my preferred team for anything that requires a sealed suit in ME2. I was always annoyed by Liara's face mask. Weird that she wears a helmet at the beginning of the very same game, then never wears one again.

Pretty much all the characters apart from Garrus and Tali (and DLC armor Miranda, and maybe Grunt, Zaeed, Kasumi) bother me because they all wear their clothes into battle. Samara and Jack being the worst offenders, Jacob sort of bothers me because while his outfit looks like a uniform it does appear to be a uniform made out of cloth.

I've been drawing up some concept armor for everybody when I need another reason to procrastinate. Unfortunately, I think I'm running into the same problem the ME2 staff ran into, in terms of making it look right for the charter. Some, like Jack, are very difficult.

It's not as bad as James wearing an eyepiece for his alternate outfit on the Geth Dreadnought, or Javik wearing no helmet at all. :P

Yeah I hate that. Javik never comes with me except for the Tuchanka, Rannoch and Thessia missions. James goes on all N7 and I skip that alternate armor.

That was because she was wearing ME1 Colossus armor in the beginning.

It looks more like the Phoenix or explorer armor or something. The colossus is red and black.

For the PC users, there are user-created mods out there that add helmets for Liara.

Sadly I don't think anyone has created one for Javik yet.

That first one requires an older version of ME3Explorer (v621 IIRC) from the SVN to install. A recent release of ME3Explorer is no longer backwards-compatible with the .MOD files used to install it and the author announced that he was done supporting them after they made the change.

Still works, though. Still available. Just need the right version from the ME3Explorer SVN. It's been fun these last few days installing high-res textures, certain mesh mods (Miranda outfit, also from Getorex; Ashley Legacy Project to put her in a real uniform with the ME1 appearance, etc.), even brought back my canon MShep and FShep's facial scars from ME1. I'll have to sign up for imgur or something and post some screenshots.

To be totally honest, when I think of stuff that could be improve in mass effect, helmets are not one of them. Being honest here, but the whole thing about space helmets seems a wee bit nitpicky and manini compared to other glaring problems. Don't know why people care so much about helmets and holstering in this game, when the most it amounts to is one or two seconds of satisfaction. Thats just me though, I tend to be a bit more of a big picture sort of guy and really lenient on the smaller details if the narrative is satisfactory around those small moments of physics breaking. Obviously, not in the majority here, so apologies for toe stepping, just wanted to get a different opinion on here.
