I'm sure I'm not the only one that's noticed this...

It may simply be that.

I'm sure most conversations will have all 3 (paragon, neutral, renegade) options available.

They said they were trimming down the dialog "fluff". In ME1 you'd often find that two of the options ended in the same spoken line.
It may simply be that.
The 'fluff' being paragon responces it seems. :|

As Anderson said in ME1, only a douchebagShep can save the galaxy.

this. seems a very likely scenario.
the sci v fi special clearly stated that dialouge isnt just 'be a jerk or be nice'. one of the speakers said there are more shades of morality present in the game.

The point is the moral system is a bit changed in ME2. If you go deep into renegade (or paragon) the nice guy (or bad guy)options stop appearing... Its kind of logical i think... Someone who uses force all the time is not going to suddenly be a nice charming guy.
That goes for charm or intimidate, i doubt it's meant to limit the over all choice on the right side, since if so, they'd make a huge step backwards and you'd find that in EVERY review.

Well, i don't recall we've seen any real conversation yet, just a brief encounter on the battlefield, so I'd not jump to conclusions. In ME there were also some dialogues with only two answers given.
Well, there were some full blown conversations in the first 30 minutes of the game I watched on youtube...and most of the time there were only 2 types of responses.

The Shepard BioWare markets is a renegade character.
The first conversation in the game after revival is riddled with dialog options. If you don't care about spoilers, you should look further.

I don't know if you guys have seen streams of the game or some playthroughs, and even trailers, the dialogue options seem much more limited. Before there were at least 3 different ways to respond in conversations, now in almost every video I've watched, there's only 2...like a neutral response, and a renegade response. I've almost never seen a paragon response option.
I'm sure I'm not the only one that's noticed this...
Actually, chances are they just eliminated the neutral response in places where the dialogue is the same for neutral and Paragon.

I heard more Renegade characters aren't privy to choosing charm/paragon responses.
This. Bioware has said that persuasion is one skill now instead of two, and which options you get is dependent on your renegade/paragon alignment. Since the basic Shep being advertised is a renegade, we see mostly renegade options.
