Well with all the turmoil in thedas and the Human countries occupied fighting each other , It will be likely for the dalish for take advantage of the chaos and band together maybe try take back the dales , so they need a strong leader maybe the keepers could pick one of the keepers to lead all of them a shartan like figure etc. Could base him on all the famous revolutionary figures Che guevara , Michael Collins, Sitting bull etc.

Only if the Dalish change all of their armor to a designed tacky hipstery version of said leader's face.

I would love to see the Elves get their homeland back, or any home for that matter. It seems like they have been under the boot heel for generations...

I think DA:I have the best setting for throwing out interesting characters!... war between mage and templars, elves revolution, orlesian civil war. I want to see strong leaders!

I think your right, The war between mage and Templars will create enough chaos that could potentially lead to revolutions, rebellions ect... Im sure there will be people who will see this as an opportunity, For what remains to be seen... Food for thought though...

To be IT i always tought elves in dragon age lore resemble a lot native americans. Look at this DA :I concept art :

so more than a Che Guevara i can see a "Sitting Bull" elves version as leader of the elves.

I'd be content if he rabidly hated everyone he met(who wasn't dalish) and at some point killed a bunch of orlesian sympathizers because they're still the people he's enemies with. You know, like the REAL Che would have.Che is an over-rated revolutionary figure who would puke at the thought of his mug being on t-shirts.

I hope Bioware does not do apologies, not even a game, this guy. The game Dragon Age Inquisition, of course, be too grand to hold on concepts as dismal. I love the Dalish people, and I know that the Elves of Thedas world aspire for a new homeland. Didn`t The Witcher 2 have an elven character that was exactly like that?

The Dalish can't be proper revolutionaries because they can't grow beards.

I agree with the trope not touching DA, but Che was a spiteful racist bigot who would've happily knifed 99.99% of the people on this forum.El Che was a living Legend but this trope seriously needs to never enter DA.

Yup! Geronimo is a good example too! ![]()
It could be interesting see a strong dalish leader that want to restore the elves pride and try to reunite all his/her people under the same flag.
Could be a perfect excuse to show many things we don't know about dalish elves and their past.

Like the idea of a Dalish revolutionary. Think that might cause some interesting friction with some other companions maybe with more of a imperialist stand point. Any class ideas for this revolutionary? I was thinking mage, but I'm thinking the scorned elf has been over done just a little bit. I'd like to see a strong elven commander.

Overrated indeed. He got iced five minutes into his own failed revolution.

I think there are better revolutionary leaders to work from. Perhaps Nelson Mandela? Though his work relied on black people actually being a majority in apartheid countries... hmmm. Mao was a good revolutionary as long as you didn't ask him to actually run a country.
