I just tested this out:

If you ask Anora about her father, she will say he was a great general. If you pick option 2. Don't you think he should pay for his crimes she will still keep her part of the bargain and will support the Warden even when you tell Loghain we are here to discuss your crimes at the Landsmeet. Does anyone have her decision tree mapped out? Could you tell her the truth that dad needs to answer for crimes option 2 and ask her to marry Alistair or the noble Warden??

I know a search of google would probably bring up a lot of details. I know that is how I found out most of this stuff regarding the landsmeet. It's actually how I just found the best ending with Alistair without playing a noble female and making him king.

I believe she will only turn on you if you tell her that Loghain needs to die, or if you refuse to support her claim to the throne.

Renjility has the right of it.  Even after saying "I'll support you", my CE told Anora "your dad has to die for his crimes".  She turned on the warden and supported her dad instead.  Even she has her limits, and while she wants the throne, she doesn't want her father to die and will remove her support from a warden who says as much.

This is just the part dealing with Loghain.

------------

I will be blunt. I can see that your voice will be a strong one in days to come. It is to you that Eamon listens, and with good reason.  My father must be stopped, but once that is done Ferelden will need a ruler. I would welcome your support for my throne.

> Are you proposing an alliance?

That is exactly what I am proposing. When the time comes, you support my bid in the Landsmeet to remain on the throne.  You will be seen as my father's enemy, yet you will be in support of his daughter. You will be seen as supporting the interests of Ferelden as opposed to solely those of the Grey Wardens. In return, I add my voice to yours. Do you see? Together we can do what alone we cannot.

> What happens to Loghain if you are queen?

He is my father, as well as a great general who has served his nation well until now. If there is a way for him to live, I would prefer it.

> 1. There isn't. Without question. (sets flag DEN_ANORA_WILL_BETRAY_PC)

Then that is how it must be. I will always be my father's daughter, but even I know he must pay for his crimes. It will not make me glad, even so. Does that affect your decision? Can we yet come to an arrangement?

> 2. Justice must be done, don't you think? (No flag set)

I am glad to hear it. In the end, it will be up to the Landsmeet to decide, I think.

> 4. I would rather he lived. He will be useful. (No flag set)

I am glad to hear it. In the end, it will be up to the Landsmeet to decide, I think.

If you tell her you won't support her...

Ah. That's too bad.
(On re-ask, I think ) Can't blame me for asking, can you? I am not dissuaded easily.
(both lead to:) I'll tell you this: my father must be stopped. Once he is kept from the throne, if it should fall to Alistair then I will be content.

(No flag is set - her default flag is not to support the Warden. When you tell her you'll support her, it changes her flag to DEN_ANORA_PC_SUPPORT.  Although she is lying here - no way will she be content - since she hasn't exactly promised support, it's not considered a betrayal by the coders.)

> I wish to speak more of your offer.

It's true I do still wish your support in the Landsmeet. Do I have it? (Enter a Warden response loop, allows Warden to change mind)

Actually she does promise you her support if you don't immediately say you are going to save her from Howe. While she is in Howe's castle.

*checks*

No, she says that ("Free me, and I promise you my aid in the Landsmeet") if you say "This [Anora being in a room sealed by magic] sounds like a trap," which is slightly different from "not immediately saying you are going to save her." It is, in fact, saying that you are actively considering not saving her.

No flags are set on either the Warden's or Anora's lines.

Is the Loghain conversation optional or is it required to take a position to get Anora's support?

It is optional. I just tried it to see if she was okay with some kind of punishment for her dad's action. She is okay with some kind of punishment but not killing him. It was option 2 not option 1. You could just say your help her without this.
