Well what do you know.
Still, Celene does not have a brother so it's not completely accurate.
This sounds rather remeniscant of ME3 -> red, blue, gold? (ME: green) Hmm, taking a gram or two of salt and passing this by unless devs say otherwise.
Um, and? Sorry, but I don't count "GUYS THAT GUY WAS LEGIT!" as Word of God. For one, this was a "leak" by some anonymous poster, which could be anyone from someone that works at BioWare to the homeless guy that has an old laptop and WI-FI. For another, even if some of this is true, that doesn't mean things have remained the same since then. Some of the original ideas could come have come from reading Asunder as well as other EU. Also, the organization names sound way too hooky for BioWare. In fact, they sound like someone's fan fiction.
This is also the first I've heard about such "spoilers" and I've been on the board for several months. I'm not going to take some the word of some anonymous poster on 4chan's word for it. If you wish to speculate, have at it and have fun! I'm treating it like every other rumor I've heard on the forums for now and not taking it seriously.
Oh and FireAndBlood is right, by the way. I have WoT and I've got the wiki pulled up. Unless it's some sort of BS "surprise twist," Celene is an only child.
Hold on, per what I have read of the Masked Empire, I'm pretty damn sure Celene was an only child, so I'm unsure about the Red Fist "spoiler"
The entire leak doesn't mesh with Masked Empire, the lore and what we learned about Vivienne.
The book and lore tell use that Celene is an only child.
Also, there will be no Orlais/Ferelden war as long as Orlais is in a civil war itself. That makes no sense.

I was thinking the exact same thing.
This isn't directed at you MisterJB (nor anyone else in this thread,) this is at the person on 4chan that posted that "leak:"

To be fair, the first time this leak came up on BSN was after the PAX demo last year. I remember discussing about it with MisterJB.Um, and? Um, and?
I was providing a link to the source for FireAndBlood so he would know that those posts were made on that date and not just falsified after the PAX demo.

Agree with you not to take this seriously, but this "leak" has been around for months, perhaps even more than a year. Can't remember when we first discussed it.

Thanks for the link by the way.
On topic the only thing the "leak" accurately predicted was the Red Templar name. We knew about the tear in the veil from the survey leak and like I mentioned before Celene does not have a brother. Also since Orlais is in a civil war that means the whole starting a war between Ferelden and Orlais is highly unlikely.
That's that sh*t I don't like.

Ah, thank you. ![]()

Hmm, fair enough. First time I'd seen it.
I haven't seen this leak before but most of the stuff on there sounds reasonable to me. There's not really that much there though so I'm not sure it's really that big of a deal. The Red Templars trying to start a war between Orlais and Ferelden doesn't sound that far-fetched, in fact I thought that might be part of the reason for the Orlesian civil war in the first place considering what Alistair says in DA2 about some Orlesians wanting to get their lost province back. And the three organizations thing was basically confirmed in the demo wasn't it? The whole military/espionage/commerce choice? Also, the "main bad guy" tearing open the veil would go along with Sandal's DA2 prophecy ("One day the magic will come back. All of it. Everyone will be just like they were. The shadows will part, and the skies will open wide. When he rises, everyone will see.")
As far as the empress's brother goes, maybe they meant her cousin? As in Gaspard? I believe he's mentioned as being a leader of chevaliers. And I don't see why the elven ambassador that's mentioned would necessarily be Solas, or any of our other potential companions. I also think the mention of Morrigan as "court mage" is probably off (I doubt apostates can be official court mages), but she's obviously at some Orlesian court.
So I don't know. If this came out before the demo then it does seem like it could have been a leak, but not a very substantial one. Some things could have been guessed at from DA2 information though. Either way I don't see anything there that's particularly surprising, whether it's true or not.
The only part of the leak I am not okay with and badly wish isnt true is the name of the three groups. Sounds way too much like someone's fan-fiction Bioware has better standard if this leak is true i am hoping they will come up with better names or no names at all and will have these people or groups be a part of the Inquisition itself. Why make more groups and make the water and story more muddled.
I feel like it might just be some lucky guesses at this point. The information is from a really unreliable source.
"Main guy is trying to literally tear his way into the Black City in hopes of becoming god"
Sounds like Corypheus.
Also i wouldn't be surprised if this was true since DA2, ME3 and a lot DLC leaks that appeared were all accurate.
This leak isn't as accurate though."Main guy is trying to literally tear his way into the Black City in hopes of becoming god"
Sounds like Corypheus.

Actually, most of the claimed leaks of this sort for ME3 (an anonymous post somewhere summarizing the plot) were significantly off or so vague that they could have been fit onto anything. It was only the source code leaks that went into detail- and many of those details were significantly changed or completely dropped over the iterations of development.

What Alistair is talking about in DA2 are just rumors. We even know the rumors are true, because that is what Gaspard want to do. The rumors do not have any chance of going anywhere while Orlais is backstabbing itself and have no army to invade Ferelden. This leak is based on stuff extrapolated from DAO and DA2 while ignoring the books and lore.
It's like someone had a sneak peak at the PAX demo without context and made lots and lots of assumptions...

The whole ME3 source code plot leak was accurate. I even remember joining the spoiler group, discussing the story, months before the game was released. Most stuff like Genophage, Geth, Rachni and the ending were spot on, they even removed some good stuff.
It was almost the same with DA2, i heard "Anders blows Chantry" spoiler like 3 months before the game was released, it was hillarious.
Trust me i never believe in leaks, but this is keep happening over and over with every BW game.
Random theory of the month: Would it be interesting if the leader of the Red Templars turns out to be...Meredith? Only, you know, as a profane.

To me it sounds like those three factions considerately chose an easily identifiable symbol (each in a different color even) just in case more conversation icons would be needed.
