Mysterious Adventurer
During the first journeys, the Inquisitor kept encountering a strange, lone adventurer in forbidden, ancient, inhabitable lands, and even in Fade Rifts.
The Inquisitor and Party knew that this Figure was following them. But How? Better yet, why?
The first appearance of the Stranger was in the outskirts of Starkhaven. The air shifted, this was no ordinary stranger, he or she was more powerful than the inquisitor at the moment. They conversed "small talk" about the world, but when finished the Stranger gave the inquisitor powerful enchanted weapons. What is significant about these weapons is that they are the exact same weapons that were seen being used by the Champion of Kirkwall. Yet this stranger gave them up freely. Why?
The tavern of a village east of Nevarra, near the Free Marches territory, the Stranger again made contact with the Inquisitor. When asked about the Champion he replied with heavy sarcasm. It seems as if the Stranger did not truly care for that title at all, however he said he was watching the inquisitor, and said 'depending on the Inquisitor's actions he might end up as a very powerful friend, or a very dreadful foe'. When the wench interrupted, passing through the Inquisitor and the Stranger, the Stranger vanished.
The inquisitor ordered the spies to uncover and track movements of this stranger, however this was all proven fruitless
This Hooded Stranger contacted the Inquisitor again. They were both tracking the same quarry this time, a new local cult, spawned from rebellions against the Circle, or were waiting for the rebellions of the Circle. This newly surfaced organization was presently gathering at two locations, ready to unleash one of the Forbidden Ones.
Without knowing which location this was to take place they scattered to the two different points of interest. With all their haste they were to late. Imshael was released, and he had devised also a sundering of the veil. The Inquisitor, and along with the party were physically sucked into the Fade. No, these were in the deepest, darkest part of the Fade. The likes of which not even the Dreamers of the Tervinter would dare slumber into. These were voids of nightmare, filled only with fears, and despair.
The Inquisitor, with the paty were lost. Wandering the unknown voids, defeating hordes after hordes, discovery new things, while getting stronger..... They were lost. And would all soon perish.
The Inquisitor did not clearly remember how he or she did this, but the cloaked Figure saved them, brought them near the veil enough, were a huge vortex was present. The Cloaked Stranger gave them poultices, and salves, all the potions they needed, and then he vanished into the deeper darkness of the Fade, as if that was were he belonged now. This vortex in the veil was sucking in Spirits of all kinds Malignant, or benevolent. But more of the fiendish kind where drawn there, with great pleasure, they dived in. New malignant foes were also sucking themselves into the magical whirlpool, trying to burst through the veil into Thedas.
The Inquisitor, along with companions amassed courage, and prepared to face these hordes. With all their valor, they dove in.
When the Inquisitor was the only one left standing, and his party was almost dead. An arcane horror suddenly burst through, into the vortex, ready to tear apart the Inquisitor, but suddenly in a flash of a blade, an arrow, or was it bolt, this Mysterious Hero ended the horror, in an instant. It was as if this veteran had been doing this for a long time. The Stranger did not stay, but instantly vanished back into the Fade, as if he had already overdone the part, for now.
After these events a Hooded Stranger was rumored in small settlements, that he was searching for something, same as the Inquisitor. However the difference was, he knew more, a lot more than the Inquisitor.
Mysterious Warden
During an expedition into the deep-roads accompanied by his Warden Companion. The inquisitor was investigating the brutal Abyssal Reach, while also impossibly trying to avoid Darkspawn, at any cost, to evade the blight's taint. The Warden Companion sensed the Taint nearby. This corruption however, was like a darkness with a bright, and burning sun inside. This, this was another Grey Warden. One that was not yet a ghoul.
They saw this Lone Warden, with a Mabari Hound taking on a horde in their stead, drawing to him/herself closely 200 Darkspawn, so the Inquisitor may swiftly run through, from the caverns above, undetected by the bigger horde. After passing above the upper caverns, the Warden Companion was sensing a great decline in the numbers of Darkspawn behind. It was clear, this Grey Warden, was no ordinary Warden.
